Thanks,

My livery for the Draken L-39 is now compatible with the 2024 native aircraft. This is the 1st livery I have been able to get working for an Asobo aircraft that has been converted to the 2024 format. Note that separate downloads are required for 2020 and 2024 as the format and textures for native 2024 aircraft are not compatible with 2020. Just click on the blue Crispy’s Liveries in the link below to be taken to the original post and download link.

The landing gear won’t retract, so the plane is unusable. Deleted all keyboard commands, click the lever in the cockpit, won’t go up. Windows 11, Velocity One Flight Stick, Three-lever throttle block

It looks like elevator trim is reversed when compared with other aircraft. For example standard Cessna 172

  1. The plane does not consume fuel at all (unlimited fuel option is OFF). Also the switch responsible for wing-tanks is not operatable.

  2. GyroMagCompass system’s (GMK-1) control unit PU-26 is not operational (as we have a GPS I can tolerate this, bur buttons, rockers and so on are not pressable or switchable - this is not good)

  3. Gauges on the panel - no backlights - no red lights, no emergency lights

  4. There are no needles on NAV one of (a “western one”) indicator.

  5. Nighttime when you start on the RW the cockpit is lighted as in the day - this bug was introduced with one of the updates in MSFS2020 and is still there.

  6. Oxygen indicator does indicate nothing if the system is ON, looks like the system is dead. Some oxygen switches are dead

7.“GPU connected” yellow lamp/button is not operatable - no way to switch it off - and I am not able to call to connect GPU power via Radio despite the fact that the GPU car is standing right near the plane - at least in the URMN airport.

  1. The engine is loosing its RPM from 103 to about 90 itself climbing to altitude - this is wrong and does not allow the plane to keep its airspeed, making it non-fly above 5-6000 meters of altitude.

  2. AChS-1 watches - red/white indicators/windows in the upper small dial responsible for flight duration are missing making watches not usable properly. Any way to use them or understand them?

  3. VSI calibrating knob is marked as OBS, OBS is marked like VSI - the same is in FS2020

  4. “Start modes” - do not work, how shall I start the engine if it stalls in the air?

  5. Fire ext - inoperative

  6. AILERON NEUTRAL - must be green

  7. Where is this manometer?
Edited - the manometer is there, just a bit deep inside

Today it was working for me with mouse - Landing UP/DOWN gears were OK on PC.

OK. Let us continue.
Internal lightning, current state, Version: 1.2.8.0

  1. Night, Accumulator is OFF, cold sand dark.

  2. Accum is ON. Why is this so bright suddenly? Is this light coming from Annunciators? It is too much!

  3. Сircuit breaker 4 - more light coming into the cockpit . Why?

  4. Сircuit breaker 5 - More light!

  5. Сircuit breaker 6 - More Light!

  6. Look at the GPS screen - isn’t it too dark night time? It is. Is there a way to make it bright? I did not find this way.

  7. But if this is a day… it is bright.

1.No way to call a GPU car for this plane to connect with even if the car is there - checked in 2 airports

  1. Default “military” avatars are not present any more, we are able to dress the pilot, but not the co-pilot. Look at her, no helmet, no uniform with antyGee systems. If you do not like this, vote here for a wish to

Add the ability to have a Customized Identity per aircraft, like Specific controls option for controls setting

Compare this with 2020 plane’s default pilots

Is there an aircraft manual for this thing ?

No, there is no any manual, but there is a good checklist in the EFB. They just did not mention there her rotation speed - 150 km/h.

By the way, most of the gauges work in the second cockpit, is there a way to set up the camera that we can fly from there? This picture is taken with the external camera.

Version 1.2.11.00 - Cockpit lighting is still broken, it is too bright night time (This looks like a kind of emission from something, I am able to reduce it switching off Invertor1 2 and 1, Engine systems). Also, If I toggle external power via an assigned button, all the lights and electric goes OFF.

This is how the cockpit looks night time by default

This is with External power switch when it is OFF, engine is running, all the generators, invertors, akkum are ON - like at the picture above

My bad - problem was some kind of phantom bug with my Velocity One flight stick. Going back to a Thrustmaster solved the issue.

This is a great little jet. I like it so much I bought the one for DCS, at half the price of my MSFS 2024 just for one plane.
Flight model seems excellent, despite the fact it is so easy to fly. The DCS version flies about the same, and they take flight models very seriously over there.
Double down on instrument lighting/visibility issues, though. This seems to be a general MSFS issue - there are not very many planes in this sim that have instruments I can see in the daytime.

If pilots flashlight is in AUTO mode, operating panel lights switch from OFF to RED/WHITE switches the flashlight ON/OFF

Aside from on the Garmin, is there a way to set the NAV frequency? There is a unit right above the XPDR, that works for Com and it has a Nav volume dial so I assume there should be some way to change it but couldn’t find any way?

First time flier of this plane in MSFS2024.

I noticed the strong tint from the cockpit glass, and it feels over done. Does anyone know how it compares to real life?

I did not see it IRL

I see 2 versions of the plane - 2020 and 2024 I am nor allowed to disable. Which one do I see in the Sim?

Cockpit lights Version 7.16.0 (if the plane I see in the Sim is a 2024 one) or version 6.0.0 (if the version I see in the Sim is 2020 one)

The good thing is that the gauges are now lighted by selectable red/white light.

The bad thing 1 is that the are wrongly positioned (like it was for a C-172 classic 2024 before the patch and like it was in a 2020 version of the plane from the beginning and was NEVER corrected) - the “lamps” are above the gauges. Dear Asobo - CORRECT THIS at last, please.

Bad thing 2 - the night cockpit is too bright - this bug was first introduced in SU12 of the MSFS2020.

I can reduce this bright light switching OFF electric switches on the right. But I can not switch this bright light completely and any way - this must not depend on those switches (except the AKK one)

Things to check to see if it’s the 2024 or 2020 model:

  • send a flight plan from the EFB to avionics
  • load your visible pilot and copilot avatar
  • any preflight objects or click spots when started cold and dark
