Working perfectly on my end. If you use FSRealistic turn off the Prop Wash effect. It blocks ruder movement on this (any many other aircraft). Turn off the Wind Ambience movements effects too, just to be sure, because that one used to sink aircraft into the ground.

Don’t know what’s causing it but, in walkaround mode, framerates drop real low when inspecting the tail (specifically, if you place your avatar by the fuselage just in front of the horizontal stabs and look around).

Have you tried this at several airports?
Better yet, have you tried this in a field with nothing around?

I say this as the framerate drops could be due to what you’re looking at at the airport.

I’m afraid the closest you can get to autopilot in the Air Tractor is properly trimming the plane which isn’t much, I know.

what we really need to make agricultural much better is ag nav/lightbar on the aircraft to correctly fly the lines, there is a great mod for it already, but it’s not usable in carrear mode, if developing it is too much work and low priority (as it should at the moment), maybe there is an easy way to make the light bar mod usable in carrear, it would be a great addition

This mod needs to be integrated into all AG aircraft yesterday. Asobo, this is low-hanging fruit for the career mode.

It would be nice to have the wheeled firefighting model as well. Since it’s the most used variant outside of the Ag version. In theory, it likely wouldn’t be that hard to switch around the external equipment on it from the scooper and ag versions to make it. Most of the equipment is already modeled. Just have to move stuff around to make it. People in the firefighting niche would greatly appreciate this since the sim literally has zero useable retardant based airtankers to use and it makes up the majority of aerial firefighting operations across the world. Aerial firefighting isn’t just flown by scoopers. More than half the firefighting missions are flown by retardant based airtankers.

Oh this makes me really happy to see someone taking this on! I’ll have to report to the community that it’s a WIP! Thank you so much for your hard work in attempting to do this! Lots of us appreciate it!
