The Trent 700 engines spool up too fast.
These engines are equipped with MEASTO (Modified Engine Acceleration Schedule for TakeOff). Even if you firewall the throttles, there is a massive delay in spool up and when takeoff thrust is set while on the ground and under 50KTS.
From when FLEX is selected to when TO power is set, there is a well over 10 second delay:
I flew the RR powered A333 last night and while think the interior sounds are ok (could be better / fuller but ok), the exterior sounds really lack the characteristic engine growl at high thrust settings.
When using manual thrust after take off (thrust levers below CL detent) engines give either idle or full thrust. Thrust cannot be commanded manually? I suppose it shouldn’t be like so.
Please add the PWs to the A330
Thrust reverser animation is messed up.
The blocker doors don’t deploy when reverse thrust is selected, instead, the animation is linked to the throttle position and only fully deploy when max reverse is selected.
I’m struggling calibrating my throttle. It’s only a basic Thrustmaster HOTAS, but using the EFB tablet I’m setting it to reverse thrust not in axis, then calibrating the different throttle positions, idle, clb, toga etc…
No matter how many times I do that, if I bring the throttle back to idle on the joystick, it goes into full reverse thrust. Then if I advance a few mm, I jump straight to nearly 30% thrust.

Please get the passenger window blinds / shades up!
With most carriers, window shades need to be up for takeoff and landing to improve situational awareness in case of an evacuation. No matter if you are a pilot, working at an airport or just an airplane spotter - we usually look at planes when window shades should be up. This A330 is giving me the impression that my cabin crew is doing a very poor job.
And even when window shades are used during flight, it usually is not that erratic as shown on this A330. They tend to be down on the sunny side, especially with low sun. And on long range flights when many passengers are trying to find some sleep, the cabin crew will enforce that all shades are closed.

hey i have almost 60 hours of flight and i’ve never had this issue until recently, im using the inibuilds a332 and it no longer captures the G/S on ils approaches (ive tried with 4 differents airports like lfpg) staying stuck at 2500feet i’ve rewatched tutorials and irl videos and i still can’t figure out what im doing wrong, i am now forced to perform manual landings without the G/S
I am not able to use this aircraft because it gives me the VRAM bug and my FPS plummets to almost single figures, rendering it unflyable.
Shadows doesn’t seem to be casted on the aircraft without ray traced shadows or in photo mode/drone mode. The one with the HUD is in external mode while the other was taken in photo mode. I hope the team fixes this.
On the A330-200 GE, none of the instrument view (SHIFT+x) is working.
Performance much better since the update. -300RR passenger variant and -200RR VIP still a bit stuttery compared to the rest of them with the P2F variants being the best performing
For some reason my tires randomly steam up when I’m taxing and in external view my graphics is horrible but it’s only with the a330 I been searching but nothing I don’t know if it’s just me?
I did a flight in the A330-300P2F RR and it went perfectly. I then fancied doing another flight in it but as a bit of a stress test, I simply stayed in the flight and programmed in my next route. Worked great however the V1 and altitude call-outs were missing on the second flight so there’s something weird going on there
On the 330 in cruise level you can safely open the windows in the cockpit. They should be locked as far as I know. Also no warning sound, all normal.
With the internal pressure in the cockpit, it would be physically impossible in real life to open the windows in flight. Not sure if there is an actual lock
Yes by locked I mean that it should be highly unlikely to open in cruise level. I am Italian so my English is a bit poor
