I love the A400M, but it has its issues. During descent on the STAR, my ND and MCDU went dark, and I only managed to restore them by toggling TCAS. Then, on short final, I turned off Anti-Ice and instantly stalled, leading to a crash. It’s left me with a bad taste regarding Microsoft’s default aircraft—though I know they aren’t directly at fault, aside from pushing timelines. Inibuilds usually does fantastic work, but this default version feels like a blemish on their reputation. I still love the A400M, yet my frustration level is off the charts.

I have the same issue. It uses like 700kg an hour but fuel flow page shows 3000kg

Should this be posted in bug reporting page? I don’t know if they really care
 if they cared they would already fixed choke issue anyways. The thing is you focus on configuring your aircraft for landing performance etc
 then you end up all your calculations actually wrong without even noticing it. :smile:

iirc the chock bug should be already fixed in the last update, but its still the same. But if you want you can report it, if not i can do it.

In my last two flights, simbrief import become a mess. flight plan in the mcdu is correct but plane goes somewhere else, almost opposite direction, route lines totally incorrect. mcdu and mfd route are totally disagree

For the A400M, i have a flightplan put in but the aircraft does not follow it as it follows the heading line off 253 as seen in the screenshot, how do i make thst heading line go away so the A400M follows my flightplan

I also noticed on my MFD it says HDG NAV how do i get the A400 to go into nav mode ?

I disagree. The A400M is excellent. It autolands quite well. Great sounds, great lighting, excellent textures. Its a bit too much like an Airbus, and not enough like a proper military plane. It’s one of the best in the sim.

I may need to give it another try. For flight planning in the world map does “send to avionics” in the sim EFB work without error?

I noticed sometimes my ILS doesn’t get populated, I think this depends on the destination airport.

The best way to go into NAV mode and away from HDG mode will be to go into the MCDU F-PLN (flightplan) page and select a waypoint to go DIRECT to. There’s plenty of tutorials online as to the exact step-by-step on how to select a direct!

This may be when you’re flying into a 3rd party airport and the developer of the scenery has re-written the ILS data from the default data stored in the sim. The best way to check is to go to the NAVRAD page in the MCDU to check if the ILS information is in place. If it’s not, all you should need to do is type in the 3 letter identifying code for the ILS approach you’re planning to fly, and both the frequency and course should auto-populate!

You can auto flight plan in the sim EFB and send it to avionics works without problem just make sure you set up everything in the performance page take of speeds cg tow fuel etc.
