Unfortunately, you’re right. I’m surprised how Asobo released this flaw. The 2020 version with the Anvlamat mod is most similar to a real airplane. It works great in 2024 as well.
hi guys, I loved the first version of the An-2, it smelt like oil. Then, inbetween it got bugs, now as I understood, it has been updated… I see there a lot of new versions, however - someone said the right words - it now feels like carenado… exactly!
I noticed today that the wing leading edge slats did make a unique sound in earlier versions … now it is gone … can anyone test it and … confirm?
Someone made/found a fix for the camera misalignement in the cockpit yet?
I’ve simply done what I end up doing on 99% of planes and that’s save a custom default camera view for it. I can’t recall exactly what the keybind is called but it’s something similar to Save VFR Pilot View (or maybe Camera).
Does anyone know if it is somehow possible to tweak the engine power? I just want to add a little more to make Neofly missions more achievable, but can’t seem to find the .cfg files. Unsure if there is a workaround to tweak plane characteristics.
The config files are probably encrypted.

For information: the question concerns the FS2024 and the aircraft model for the 2020 + mod version.
I do not use the 2024 version of the aircraft because I consider it completely inoperable and suitable only for spectacular pictures 
You need about 40 degrees nose down pitch to maintain 120 km/h ( 65 KTS ) IAS on idle power and full flaps. The Stuka dive bomber should be ashamed.
ATS / Asobo were so rushed with release “on time” that they just forgot to test fly ■■■■ thing after they finished work on 3D model. Shame on you for selling this aircraft with MSCENERY flight model.
Back in old days I or somebody else could just tweak the flight model and share the work but no… you had to encrypt everything. If you want encryption at least make it right for people who PAID for this aircraft.
SU6 seems to have fixed the flaps for me, but unfortunately I still don’t hear enough of that sweet radial engine when in cockpit view, it feels way too quiet
But it didn’t address the issues with the engine starter.

That camera angle is a joke. What is more of a joke is that it’s not fixed yet.
You know that you can change your default camera position on a per-aircraft basis, right? This can be fixed by you in about 10 seconds
