Yeah, I’m just explaining, that probably doesn’t have anything to do with missions or MSFS 2024. You’ve got a departure procedure loaded that begins with a vector leg; they’re common. The intent is that you fly that track until ATC vectors you towards another point. In the sim unless you’re on Vatsim or something obviously no one is going to vector you anywhere, so you’ll need to just pick a point and go direct, as it sounds like you’re doing. I’m just saying, it’s not a bug, it’s how the real airplane is supposed to behave on those procedures.
Ah i got it. Yeah well i guess many newbie flight simmers have the same issues that i do so. Atleast we get the message out so people can start enjoying the game more.
Have you turned up the airflow to the windshield?
Unsure what might happen in the game, but windshield air shouldn’t have any effect on windshield ice. It’s for defog only (but the windshields stay warm enough from windshield heat that you never actually need it.)
The only thing that keeps the windows from icing over is windshield heat, and it’s 100% effective if it’s on and working. Looks like it’s not doing anything in the game.
The nose cone and wing ice protection do nothing either. It’s all inop. Bug report already raised. The max has a list of aabout 30 bugs and counting.
I do not remember, Just switched ON all the “heaters”, but I do not remember about the airflow. I’ll check next time and report. Thank you.
There’s no “nose cone” deice on 737s, not sure what you mean by that. But yeah, the default Max sounds like a mess. The iFly Max in 2020 is quite good and will be coming to 24 eventually.
Yeah im waiting for the marketplace to get the pmdg version for my airliner company, waaaaay better and pretty mostly everything is modelled if i understand correctly.
Yep been flying the pmdg since FSX, never had any serious bugs in it, everything works perfectly!
They are worth the price
Awesome thanks mate, i also like the sound profile they’ve made for the engines and such more.
Occasionally, the plane is unable to load the path, no magenta lines, or the magenta lines are only connected upto the final waypoint before the STAR of the ARR airport. Deleting the Rolling Cache “solves” this issue. Alongside the XPDR issue(s), this plane is a pain to deal with.
Guys, I’ve posted a thread about the well-known bug with overly bright screens in the 737 MAX. I encourage you to share your thoughts and click on “vote” – maybe it will help get this annoying bug fixed faster.
this applies to ALL aircraft, not just the 737.
Nope mate.
Not all… But many. Perhaps planes you may not fly. The Cessna 408, the Saab 340. I think several others. It does seems to be more of a systemic sim issue versus a per-plane issue, at least from my reading. I believe it’s part of a known bug where the “time of day” flags the sim is sending are not correct or are affected by some global time offset error. Planes read this variable/offset and set their auto-brightness accordingly, and it manifests itself as dim displays during the day, or bright displays at dusk/dark. I recall hearing there is an active post on the developer’s bug forum tracking this, but I don’t have the link handy.
There’s a weird electrical shut off problem when you use the Logitech panel landing gear down
on planes that feature one more more simulated LCD screens with auto-brightness enabled, said screens are so insanely overbright at night on my 1000 nit quantum OLED HDR screen that they are physically painful to look at for a moderate period of time. this includes the 737 MAX.
Don’t make the cockpit door the same as door L1. People want to be able to walk through the cabin.-similar to the ini made Airbus planes which let you open the cockpit door without returning to the outside, allowing for custom views setting- unlike using the drone camera, no easy way to recall and save a cuatom cabin view.
There is an easy way albeit unconventional. Ext camera view → shift+9
Takes you into passenger cabin view /walk around.
You can then set a custom camera views from your views seen in walk around. Very easy.
