[MSFS2024] Boeing 737 Max 8

Anyone having trouble getting the elevators to respond? I start cold and dark. Program everything. I see the yoke moving correctly but the nose never lifts up on takeoff.

Am I missing something?

Does anyone know how to properly load this ■■■■? If we should use the weight+balance in the mcdu, the loading panels inside the EFB or any other way? All of them seems wrong and gives wrong CGs and trims every ■■■■■■■ time…

Was MSFS 2024 actually tested ?

one can whine about it or do something about it.

Don’t make the cockpit door the same as door L1. People want to be able to walk through the cabin.

I’d like to be able to walk through the 737 cabin using SHIFT +WASD or ALT + arrow keys.

The ini made A320v2, A321LR and A330 all have an opening cockpit door without spawning you back outside the plane and lets you walk through the cabin.

Surely an enhancement Asobo could easily add?

I’m glad it’s not just me who is having various issues with the 737 Max. Not had any CTD with aircraft, but I always get CTD with all Inibuild aircraft. Not been able to fly one of the airliners yet. I fact the only flight I have completed in MSFS 2024 is with the LVFR A319 and the audio was hit and miss in that. One thing I did learn is 2024 ATC will not change assigned landing runway. I was instructed to land 23L at EGCC so I requested the ILS 23R approach but the sim kept giving me instructions to land 23L. I am mainly using MSFS 2020 for Airliner flights and only flying VFR in 2024. I’m sure after the announced updates next month, the sim will get a step closer to being as good as 2020 is now.

All Inbuilds aircraft crash for me and I’m on series X. I said on another post that Microsoft should release an up rated Xbox specifically for Flight Sim. Better CPU and Grapics Card

Not on Xbox

Tried the first 737 mission in career mode. CTD when I began the descent. Really poor fps throughout. Xbox Series X

Well… it has many bugs but I see a strong potential and it is not as bad as the A320 we initially got from FS2020.

After a crash due to bad trimming, I was able to do a smooth flight and it was enjoyable.

Let`s report our observations and I am sure it will be a good plane to fly soon !

Very nice module! It is easy to hand fly, and I’m pumped about the flight model! Finally a sane angle of attack on approach. Also, nice sense of mass and weight with the braking action. I was standing on my toes with full reversers!
It over-speeds too easily right now with manual thrust. Thankfully, the over-speed alarm is silent.
TAWS sounds off on approach regardless of flaps and gear positions.

It is actually pretty nice to have the 737 max 8 be a very good model I just wish my logic auto pilot panel would work and switch panel as well because I would enjoy airliners more

I have no rudder pedals. I can not steering with the nosewheel.
How do I steer the B737 max msfs2024???

what do i need to do to get the gpu working? I request it via atc ground and it attaches but the switch in plane doesn’t work

Same way you find yourself controlling other aircraft on the ground. The tiller is bound to the rudder pedals.

Forget this piece of garbage:

  1. altimteter cannot be set to STD pressure, the button doesnt work on the MCP
    2)VNAV doesnt work properly
  2. master caution on pressurisation system indicating failed aircraft pressurisation
  3. trim is broken
  4. wrong engines they modelled CFM 56 NG engines in it instead of Leap-1B max engines
  5. cannot set a squawk code, screen is blacked out
  6. recall button is too dim when pushed plus FMC is barely readable too
  7. nosewheel steering is borked too

Ok it is flyable, but its a poor representation !! :disappointed_relieved:

I’ve heard it does, you need to press both left and right mouse buttons; it’s a strange keybinding that’s not intuitive.

Besides that, everything else you’ve listed seems to match what type rated 737 pilots have mentioned (A330 Driver f.k.a. 737 Driver, and Mentour Pilot plus Ben who were/are line examiners). It’s also too bad the engine parameters are basically just the CFM-56 with motoring added to it.

Hopefully Asobo can review the feedback from Emi, 1st look; Emi, 2nd look and Petter/Ben (their feedback videos linked) and fix some of the many issues/inconsistencies. There’s potential here for sure but it needs a lot of work.
