Now updated to v6.31.0 (from 6.25.0), no change log I can see.
In Inibuilds planes (A320, 321, 330, Beluga) terrain radar still out on XboxâŠ.
How do I load the passengers? I tried doing Load Immediately and the through ATC but it always says they have not been loaded yet.
In my experience it will always say that - even if Iâm staring a cabin full of twins (presumably on their way to a twins convention).
What if you tell the ATC that you are done with the boarding?
This aircraft is incredibly sluggish in performance after SU4 install. Also getting hiccups on my Windows OS just typing this as the sim is active in the background (which is a first). smh
Ye my frame rate has become a slide show. The performance degrades progressively the longer Iâm in it.
The Asobo Boeing 737 max 8 is broken with the SU4 update. Iâve flown this plane in SU3 for more than 300 hours, it wasnât perfect, but it was good. In SU4 Beta, testers made the report that the 737 felt like it had increased resistance. Final approach NÂč for example is now around 80%, while it used to be around 55% (like in real life).
A perfectly fine working version of this aircraft has been replaced with a bugged version. Apparently Asobo has tunnel vision to fix the gameâs performance issues and completely forgot about this issue.
Luckily, the CJ4 has the correct price now so i bought it. Will be doing some training and fly this aircraft until the issue with the 737 has been fixed.
Fix the dome light please.. itâs very annoying to flight at night. it came back in the SU4..
Please fix the dome light!
The dome light bug has been âbug loggedâ for months now. Please add your comments to it.
this bug reported from the first beta version was also not fixed despite the bug being logged.
Asobo B737 MAX gound/air resistance
please correct it because you ruined the whole plane
My gods - exactly! I have been flying the Asobo Boeing 737 MAX extensively [after SU3 release] and quite content with the overall product, but SU4 absolutely ruined it?! Ruined enough for me to once again shelve the game until maybe SU5 comes out?! Come on man .. my first SU4 flight was a disaster .. why say âhey look how smooth it isâ yet RUIN the technical aspects many simmers enjoy .. the videogamifciation of flight simming has RUINED it. // Itâs clear with XBOX and PLAYSTATION support now, that this sim was designed for mass adaptation for the casual gamer - one who wouldnât care or notice that you need 80% N1 on final, or that the VNAV overspeeds the aircraft, or that the Flight Director becomes an aerobatics show just passing a fix dead ahead.
This is a false connection of correlation and causation. There are many âseriousâ simmers and real pilots on console (I was one of them for years - a âseriousâ simmer that is, Iâm not a RealPylote
) and their existence on the platform has no bearing on the kind of issues youâre presenting.
If anything, these platforms fund the sim and allow for more work, not less. This is, and always has been, a bad and false take.
I wouldnât put it like that since i like to play from my couch on Xbox as well, but also behind my desk with a Boeing yoke, quadrants, MCP and rudder pedals. Asobo just has too much on their plate than they can handle right now. Beta testers reported long ago the 737 was broken in SU4 Beta, but the perfomance issue reports were flooding the forums. So i believe they had this tunnel vision and forgot about other problems.
I donât even know if Iâd go so far as to say that - but at some point things need to get prioritized. Everyone above saying this makes the aircraft âliterally unflyableâ is being hyperbolic. Itâs 100% fine during the day, and at night it is, at worst, âdumb and annoying to look at.â But at no point does the always-on dome light prohibit the operation of the aircraft in any way, other than (maybe) if you were theoretically trying to land in incredibly low-light conditions at an unlit runway - not a circumstance very realistic for a MAX 8.
I had a fully loaded 737 and i barely could land it because of the increased resistance, the dome light is least of the problems, although very irritating as well.
Yeah, now weâre talking - the increased resistance is the much bigger issue that could, under certain circumstances, truly make the aircraft unflyable. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved prior to the next full Sim Update but as the MAX uses WASM, this is not commonly done.
The MAX is entirely a HTML/JS aircraft.
Youâre entirely a HTML/JS aircraft!
I mean - my bad!
