I had to apply almost firewall power to land after SU4. I thought my throttle was defective on my joystick.
8 posts were split to a new topic: Off-Topic: [MSFS2024] Boeing 737 Max 8
I reported this bug from the first beta version of the SU4. The bug was logged, and for two months they didnât fix it. They released it in the final version anyway. Itâs a joke. One of the most popular aircraft. Weâll have to wait for the PMDG because I see thereâs no hope for a quick fix.
Luckily the beauty here is both MSFS2020 and 2024 offer both worlds. When i feel like it, i fly with hardware on the PC. However, laying on the couch flying a 737 is amazing aswel. My neighbour was amazed, she was like youâre actually flying a plane with just a controller? Anythingâs possible lads.
I really hope this gets fixed soon. Itâs disappointing to see such a popular aircraft released with this issue still present.
Folks, a number of posts were removed as they had nothing to do with the topic at hand: Feedback on the Boeing 737 Max 8. Please keep on topic. Thank you.
GOOD NEWS:
There was just an update (1.6.33.0), including one for the Boeing 737 Max
BAD NEWS:
The worst bugs (dome light and thrust/drag problem) were once again not fixedâŠ.
incredible. the one thing everyone would love fixed and they tease us with a bug fix not related to the night light. I find that pretty funny. No acknowledgment either.
this is ridiculousâŠ
Anyone had elevator issues since the latest update?
Yea, on take-off trying to engage the AP, the plane dived aggressively. It was very difficult to put her back on track.
Also the plane climbs on the speed fast (.84 instead .806 M)
Yes also encountered this aggressive dive
The behavior of the autopilot in the initial climb phase is broken!
Little workaround to avoid the âdiveâ: Look at the flight director after takeoff (LNAV/VNAV armed). As long as the FD isnât pointing to a clearly positive pitch, activate the A/P and temporarily use LNAV and LVL CHG (level change) with speed set to V2+20 kts. Only when the flight director shows a positive climb rate after a while activate VNAV again.
Work arounds are not elegant fixes. Why should we have to change the way we fly to accommodate a bug, or bugs in the code? I rather just not fly at all until there is a comprehensive address of the issues. I find this perplexing because the SU3 version of the 737 seemed at its best. What happened? // I am off to try the ârotorcraftâ side of MSFS 2024, since they are forcing that on us with Stranger Things. Wish me luck.
The dome light is a bummer at night, no way to turn off the light on pilots side back wall. Is that the case for everyone, or is there some conflict with other planes? etc.
Workaround mentioned here.
Anyone notice that using a mapped hotas button control for âtoggle spoilersâ results in no spoiler stick animation despite the spoilers being deployed (audibly too), same for retracting them. The stick only animates by manually moving it.
Is this âdiveâ thing a nasty easter egg or something? If so, it is very unappropriated.
Itâs pretty good in systems and the model is great for a default plane, but I do wish it had simbrief integration instead of the already bad flight planner.
Bredok3D has a Simbrief intergration available for it although CGs and Weights are bugged. By the way did the wheel resistance thing resolve? Few days ago when i tested aircraft refused to accelerate past 100 knots and had to use toga to lift off. Pretty sure wasnt like this in SU3
