Any one able to bind the parking brake to one of the Honeycomb Bravo switches? I’ve tried everything that comes up for Parking Brake and nothing I try seems to work.
I have my Parking brake bound to the ‘flaps’ lever, [ i think its ‘toggle Parking Brake’ and the last Mixture lever is now my Flaps lever. [Bind it to the ‘Flaps Axis’]

Do you have the Bravo too? Perhaps a double assignment?
The parking break on off binding does not work. Probably a bug no one ever reported. So it will stay till 2028.
You have to bind to just one position “parking break set” or something like that. And the other position shouldn’t have a binding.
I have currently no access to the game to tell you the correct naming.
i use the specific “parking brake decrease” and “parking brake increase”. But you need also set the Input repetition to off! Works perfect for me.

Can anyone tell me how in the world to get to the steam gauge cockpit? When I go to configure I only see a bunch of variants of the plane set up but they’re all g1000. What exactly am I missing?

to have a Cessna 172 with a G1000 while is a dream for a lot of pilots, most do not. at the most maybe the Garmin G5s. To not have a Cessna 172 without the G1000 does a disservice to those aspiring pilots that combine FS 2024 with pilot training. I speak as a current private pilot with instrument rating.

It already exists in MSFS, it’s just not included in the Standard edition.

I agree, not many schools or owners can afford a G1000, maybe G5s
An aspiring pilot (undergoing flight training) can absolutely afford the version of MSFS 2024 that does include the steam-gauge version of the 172.
Or am I missing your point?

Have any of the developers ever flown a C172? The model is horrible. I have flown through some really bad weather in real life, and the real life performance of the C172 was better in a thunderstorm than the model in clear weather. Your turbulence modelling is horrible, and you should create another option besides low, to NONE. it adds no realism and only hinders playing the sim.

When the Marketplace opens in January you should be able to purchase single planes from the premium deluxe and get the C172 steam gauge (Classic) variant.

Is anyone using the Steam Gauge 172 able to popout any of the screens in the 530 or 430 or even the Transponder, AP or ADF?
Is this broken?
This is very strange, I have tried with popout manager and it fails everytime and I have tried manually and cannot make it work. I have popped out windows on other planes, it is just the 172 with steam gauges that does not work for me.
Maybe you have to “reset” popout manager. Sometimes the popout panels go to an “invisible” screen. for example when you using spacedesk or other virtual screens?
I created a new profile for the 172 when I started and I tried another new one and still noting. Any I know it is not popping it out to another screen because it says it failed. I also created a new profile for the 172 G1000 and the SR22 after I had this issue and they both work fine. This morning after a fresh start of the game I tired again and still nothing both manually and with popout manager.
There is something going on but I have no clue what.
Next test is to install it on my other computer and see if I have the same issue.
First I will try again after I remove everything from my community folder.
Nice to see I’m not the only one to reuse the flaps lever for the parking brake 
I already did that on my old steam gauge setup with the Saitek Multi Panel, it’s way easier to quickly check the actual flap setting when it’s bound to a lever instead.
