Im using the Cessna Citation Longittude
I do use AP and have an active flight plan when .
I have tried to turn the NAV button on from inside the cockpit and I have a honeycomb throttle quadrant and tried it from there also.
I have the same exact issue.
I can have a active flight plan, but that NAV button will not work at all. Iāve tried mapping it to a button and just click on the NAV button on the flight panel. It will not activate at all, the green like doesnāt turn on, nothing.
Even when I add a direct waypoint, it will not activate.
Everything else works great, I can use the heading mode and change the direction of the plane that way.
I have been noticing my last few attempts to use the FMS NAV mode, that my DTK is stuck at 360, it cannot be changed and when I activate a leg in my flight plan or a direct waypoint the DTK always changes to 360.
I really wanna fly this plane but I donāt wanna use manuel heading for the entire trip every time.
Disable the FSā24 one if you have the jet in 2020. Iāve been flying many Premium and Premium Dlux a/c from 2020 in 24 just because of the sheer numbers of defects the new versions have.

I just found the issue. (For me at least)
I use Navgraph add ons, I removed all the addons from my community folder and tried the fly the Citation and experience zero issues.
I am adding these addons back one at a time and testing them to see which one gave me issues. Before I removed them I also noticed some of them needed updating via the Navgraph Hub so that may have been the issue as well.
So happy I figured out what was causing the NAV mode not to work. I can finally fly my favorite plane again!
I hope this helps others that are having issues with their NAV mode not working.

Thanks for your post, helped me to resolve the issue with the FMS. I believe the error was caused by installation of the beta avionics packages from navigraph, e.g. G1000/G3000/G5000/G3X. With the AIRAC, EFB and SimBrief packages installed it seems to be working great

Yes, I had the system on FMS.
There seems to be a bug with the Navgraph add ons (they are still in beta so not entirely surprised).
Once the addons were removed the Citation has been flying great!

I hope Asobo opens this plane up for people to make liveries(i want a netjets one) and soundpacks(ftsim). I used his sound pack for so long i forgot how bad the default sounds are.

Hi there. Chiming in to say I can consistently reproduce the reported LOD issues, and I expect there to be no difficulty for the dev team to reproduce as well. This has also been extensively reproduced in our group fly-ins.
One of the benefits of MSFS2024 is streaming planes/packages. Has a fix for this been pushed yet? Do I need to clear a cache or something to get it?
If not, these broken LODs (there are many, not just the taxi light, but the right engine [only?!], the cockpit interior when viewed from outside, the textures, the various components on top of the plane, the seatbelts that poke through the left side, the landing gear doors opening when far away) are very annoying and it would be much appreciated if the MSFS team would take notice and resolve.
This was sold (and paid for) as a premium aircraft, after all. I expect it to work like one.

Two issues when in 2024:
- G5000 seems to fly part way down the approach (RNAV) then just abandons the approach and flys off on itās own, ie: does not complete the whole approach to minimums
- There should be a way to shut off the autothrottle ā¦ not just disengage it but actually shut it off so it will never come on

Set the AP to MAN instead of FMS.
Man = manual
Then keep your speed to a proper range or the AT will still come on.
When I did this, the crazy desire to run the throttle to max stopped
occurring when coming down the glide slope and other times.
Which is a pitty as the efb doesnt work in vr to look up the frequency
I donāt see any liveries for the Longitude except the one labeled āOfficial.ā Even though it seems like there are other liveries listed in the Base Content as streaming. Anyone know anything about this? Thank you!
Said in the su1 release notes that liveries had been disabled while they fixed them.

How do we disabled and activate/import the msfs 2020 version of the plane?
Select the FSā24 Longitude in My Library and see if thereās a Disable Button at the bottom of the screen. Assuming you have the right version of FSā20 that also has the Longitude, there should be a warning sign saying the older version will replace the newer one.
