External lights not working !!! Terrible, who from asobo has tested this airplane ?

I’m going to start flying this beauty. I’d like to share impression and bug list.

In the end Longitude is the only executive jet with a medium-long range, hope it will be improved as close as study level could be.

AP not working …

It does. What’s the problem in detail?

External lights not working

External model LOD levels are changing to early/to obvious.

Other than that, found some new love for it last night
G3000 rocks.

Longitude shows incorrect max altitude.

edit: it shows 12999ft for all planes

Approach will not arm on an IFR flight.

Edit: 11//25/2024

NAV1 frequency is used for LOC for the ILS.
This frequency is not set correctly.

Lookup your destination airport and get the correct frequency.
EFB bottom left icon.
Right click the dest airport to see the Chart.

Just after takeoff, the flight plan is visible on the map, on the right speed and with a normal climb rate.
If you say that it works for you, i’ll test again.

I’m enjoying Longitude more and more.

I’m trying to understand how the loading setup works (and if it works properly). I set the entire flight plan with Microsoft’s web planner, including payload and fuel. However, when I load it into the sim, I have to re-enter them again: I have to go to the Longitude’s EFB and manually input passengers, baggage, fuel, and check the center of gravity. Only after doing this do I load the data into the MFD. Often it tells me that loading the data onto the aircraft has failed, even though it does load the fuel. I can’t manually input the passengers; I do but it gives me lodaing faliure and resets passengers wight to zero. The logic of the passengers’ page isn’t clear to me.

Even though all the menus are set to KG, on the MFD I always see the fuel in LBS (I want it in KG).

APP mode indeed seems buggy, but I need to test it further: with the approach procedure correctly loaded and the APP button engaged, one time it switched automatically from FMS to LOC and GS (magenta to green), while another time it didn’t capture. Maybe I need to use the method I use with the ATR, meaning exiting FMS mode, manually setting the course, and activating APP only in LOC mode. (I need to do more tests).

The ability to view LIDO charts directly on the MFD needs to be added as soon as possible.

You should see FP on the map as soon as it’s loaded, not after t/o.

After conducting further tests, I confirm that the autopilot (AP) works very well. During the ILS approach, it is necessary to ensure that NAV1 radio is actually tuned to the correct frequency; it’s not enough to rely on having properly loaded the right approach on the MFD.

This evening, where airborn, I also tried requesting a new flight plan from ATC after creating it on the EFB. Everything works fine.

The only bug to report is having to configure the EFB with kilograms, Celsius degrees, etc., every time because it always forgets those settings. And, of course, I’d like to be able to read the fuel in kilograms rather than pounds on the MFD.

It’s a great aircraft, truly underrated.

This is one of the better included aircraft. I haven’t completed a full flight since '24, but the only issue I’ve come across is no external lights. I have this issue on all the aircraft though, so it’s not specific to the Longitude. I also REALLY miss having Simbrief integration.

External lights are not functioning as intended, landing taxi lights are pointing downwards.

Yes, it works for me too.
Thanks

the autopilot did not work for me on my first two tries but i think it got fixed in 1.19.0 version

i think i found the fuel loading on mass/balance page of the efb it seems strangely disconnected with the other efb pages showing loading

This is not possible to do. The plane IRL only has an EIS certified for units in LBS and that is the way they are delivered to all customers worldwide; there is not an option in the plane to change this.

On the Longitude , Approach will not arm.

  1. Create flight in the EFB
  2. KJFK 31R to KEWR 22R
  3. Select Flight Details = IFR on EFB screen 2
  4. File Plan with ATC
  5. Send Route to Avionics (Longitude FMC)will not automatically arm
  6. Start Flight
  7. NAV1 is programmed to 110.5 which is an error.
  8. KEWR 22R ILS is 110.75

Flew the Longitude yesterday on a flight from KHYA to KORF. Flight plan loaded fine, autopilot worked exactly as expected. Did not observe the lights as it was a daytime flight. Had to quit the sim before approach so I didn’t get to try loading approach.

I built my flightplan in the EFB and everything worked as expected.

I checked ILS for KORF Runway 23.
ILS frequency is 109.10.

Longitude has 110.50 programmed for both NAV1 and NAV2.

So, the Approach will not work.
You’ll just fly over the airport.

Seems like the default of 110.50 is set for all ILS flights.

You MUST input the ILS frequency yourself. Apparently the days of the NAV radio updating when you activate the approach are gone.

At least that is my observation.
