Does that mean it is now the same as RL and that FS2020 was just doing it for us?
Or, is it a bug?
They could at least have told us the change.

I have no clue which is real. I would guess that us having to input it ourselves is real, but that is just a guess. This whole new game is frustrating in that they have communicated none of the changes, as far as I know.
Maybe RL but,
if I was a RL Pilot and paid mucho money for a Garmin,
I would expect it to input the correct frequency if I selected an ILS approach.
But what do I know, Iâm just a simmer.
But a happy simmer who has FS2024.
Cessna Citation Longitude:
â˘External landing and taxi lights are non-functional, making night landings impossible. (wtf lol)
â˘High-pitched engine noise during cruise flight.
â˘Internal cockpit lights are very dim.
General Issues:
â˘Persistent radio static noise across all aircraft, must turn down every flight.
â˘Joystick calibration dots remain static and unresponsive.
â˘Fuel level slider goes past max when adjusted in the settings.
â˘EFB maps do not allow mouse dragging to navigate periodically; location resets automatically.
â˘Maximum altitude for all aircraft is incorrectly capped at 12,999 ft.
â˘The End Flight button leads to a screen showing airport waypoints on the horizon, with no clickable options.
â˘No landing challenge score data is displayed after completing challenges.
â˘No clouds on free flight map.
I have a faint suspicion that this might be related to navigation data. In other words the destination airport may not be listing the ILS frequencies so the plane canât tune them.
If that is true then it will be easy to fix when Navigraph manages to release nav data for MSFS 2024.
I might be completely wrong here.
I think you are wrong, because I use the games EFB to find the ILS freq.
Most likely, itâs a bug, since pretty much every modern glass cockpit system (especially on something that high end) will auto-tune an ILS when the approach is loaded/activated from the FMS database and the airplane is within a given distance of the destination.
hi, using Inibuilds A321, ILS match perfectly after insert approach on FMS, so it think thatâs not the case.
Longitude could do the same so I think itâs a bug to report. Nevertheless, as i said before, setting approach data during the flight, Iâll check (and eventually set) NAV1 with correct ILS freq.
Fun fact: final nav course is always right.

One thing beyond the negatives here - Itâs worth saying that this is one of the visually most detailed aircraft of the sim. I opened all doors for you ![]()
Ability to save EFB settings is definitely needed. Iâm always forgetting to do it and winding up scratching my head at W&B.
weâre discussing how to improve this remarkable airplane.
After landed in heavy rain, i did a workaround and I realize how beautiful was the 3d model all dirty realistically more under the belly. Impressive.
Yesterday i did my first vatsim flight with Longitude, almost everything went well except for the VR bugs that were so annoying. Landing and Taxi lights definitely need an adjustment, it was terrible so i couldnât use them during taxi and takeoff/landing. Speedbrake axis was inverted. AP was working fine.
OT:
about vatsim, how did you install 3d traffic model? i canât copy fsltl-traffic-base somewhere else out FS2020 community folder.
I have installed FSLT using FlyByWire Installer and set my community path to 2024 community folder. It works flawlessly with vatsim.
spoiler wont show extend and extract animation? No SVS MFD like in msfs2020 ?
Iâm having fun with this plane, but I didnât fly it much in 2020, so I canât compare it to that.

Landing lights donât come on at all. Itâs not just visual, because I keep getting docked for not using them in my virtual airlines, haha.
Referring to the ILS discussion above, you can also go to your flight plan in the FMS, click on the Destination row, âSelect Approachâ, and the ILS frequency should be displayed in the middle. You can click on that to tune it into NAV1.
Hello,
The issue with the avionics not auto-tuning to the ILS nor automatically switching from FMS to LOC at the FAF has been reported and will be addressed in a future update.
Additionally, the issue with the lights pointing in wrong directions for some users is related to a sim issue with merging CFG files in the modular simobject format, and has been reported to the sim team.

yep, weight logic is quite a mess.
About the 3D model:
Great upgrade from MSFS 2020. Love the cabin and openable parts. BUT:
LODs are poorly implemented
Lights are not working
About the systems and flight model, theyâre pretty much unchanged from MSFS 2020. Still feels too light and too powerful.
