Thanks,
MSFS Team

Former Cirrus instructor IRL here. These are some of the bugs & issues I’ve found so far:

  1. My hardware (honeycomb bravo) can only toggle between full flaps and flaps up. I have to click in the cockpit to get takeoff flaps. (This doesn’t happen in any other planes so far)

  2. No lights on Garmin autopilot panel

  3. Parking brake cannot be released with “toggle parking brake” key. Has to be pressed in cockpit

  4. Paint on wheel fairing pops in and out depending on camera zoom

  5. Very slow looking prop shadows on fuselage

  6. Missing prop “whoosh” sound when making big power changes and going idle thrust.

  7. Inflight engine sounds the same regardless of power changes

Otherwise you guys did an amazing job after updating this in 2020. It’s one of the best GA planes in the sim

There is a hudge problem with the Cirrus SR22.
IRL it’s a free wheel castering airplane, not in the sim, the nose wheel move when you apply rudder. I understand it’s conveniant for people whithout rudder pedal but it is a real immersion killer. Since we can’t MOD default aircraft anymore to get our free wheel castering, it would be great to have an option in the default aircraft

Also the door still does not open sadly

Thank you

Will not allow you to update the weights. Once you click load in aircraft, it errors out. Cannot config at all via the EFB. Also, the custom callsign does not get assigned and saved.

The canopy is very opaque in sunlight. Can only select flaps up or fully down with hotas.

Indeed. Looks like someone wiped the windshield with an oily rag. It’s very bad.

It is even evident in the thumbnails in the configure screen. :man_shrugging:

Can’t add fuel or change payload through the EFB. Is this a straight port from MSFS 2020 with no additional work or testing done?

Can confirm flaps only extend or retract fully with HC Bravo, not TO setting. Using the mouse, the issue is intermittent, i.e. sometimes they work in stages, sometimes not.

it’s not possible to add tki fluid.

I really wish this aircraft was included in the career mode. Hopefully it will be added soon.

Has anyone figured out a way (graphics setting) to get a clearer windshield?

It’s a top-notch aircraft IRL, just a pity that the flaps selector and windshield spoils it a little in the sim (although fingers crossed for a patch coming Tuesday
).

Dumb question: I set up a flight plane from KASH to KFIT. The map shows the approach path to 32, but does not show my flight path from KASH to the point where it’s telling me to turn to final on approach. How do I get the map to show my whole flight plan?

Edit: I’ve figured it out for the most part, mostly just learning on my part. If I create the flight plan, it works as I expect.

Problem is, for some reason, the FPL guidance line at the start of the EFB generated flight plan starts at the third point in the flight plan and goes to the runway, instead of going from my starting position to the FAF. I don’t know if that’s working as designed.

Another problem with the SR22T is that automixture is always on. This is particularly annoying on a turbocharged aircraft.

And when I pull CAPS, the plane decents at -5000 fpm. Surely too much.

The pilot‘s seating position is way to far forward. You are sitting in front of the seat extremly close to panel. This results in a reduced view. Espacially flying in the pattern. If you look to the right you see your copilot sitting behind you.

Not sure what you mean here, can you be more specific on how you’re determining that auto-mixture is on?

The aircraft does have an ECU which modulates the fuel flow based on the throttle input, i.e. the same mixture lever position is not always the same mixture ratio, but the way the lever works is as it does IRL and you should be able to use it to put the mixture into the correct fuel flow band on the EIS.
