I don’t know if this is a bug or if I’m doing something wrong?
After firing up the CJ4 I’m finding that it won’t move when I throttle up.
Now going by the eternal walkaround there seems to be a click spot just in front of the nose wheel. So is there some invisible, non-clickable chocks there?
Moved to User Support Hub that is more appropriate for community support.
Are the chocks there but invisible…(see the click spot) ?
I can’t tell. I’ve tried clicking around the area, and the only highlights I get is the tyre and the strut.
NOt use default atc ground service / ATC blocked gear/ now restart fly and don’t use ATC on sim
Are you SURE that the brakes are off? The CJ4’s brakes seem to be ******. My left toe brake pushes down BOTH brakes on the right side of the cockpit and vice versa. The plane moves fine for me, just can’t steer it due to no differential braking.
Yep! Definitely off. I’ve triple checked the bindings. Also the brake pull works as it should.
My guess is that the issue is that there are chocks in place, and because they are invisible they can’t be removed.
It has to be something to do with the extra click spot out in front.
Why o why couldn’t they add a remove external items in the EFB?
It’s definitely a issue with the aircraft, as it will move when starting on a runway.
Is this in Career or Free Flight?
I had no issues getting it to move forward when starting cold and dark on the tarmac in Free Flight. That said, there were no chocks or ghost chocks to remove.
I will put in a ticket to see what they suggest could be the issue.
It’s doing my head in trying to work out what’s causing it.
Hmm! No I haven’t tried deleting the cache. I shall give that a try.
Now that’s possible as if there was an issue when the aircraft was first streamed
that issue could now be stored in the cache file?
Clearing the Cache didn’t work.
Though I have discovered that when viewing using the drone cam, you can clearly see the chocks, and when I move in closer ther vanish.
I have found a work-a-round, and that’s by using the Walkaround Manager mod.
Though it will only remove the chocks if they are visible.
So that will do until Asobo decide to fix it?
At least I can now use it from a cold and dark state. and I don’t have to worry about chocks and engine covers anymore.
Using the Walkaround Manager did the trick.
After disabling the manager mod the issue was fixed.
I still sent a ticket to support, just to see if they know what the issue is.
I will let you know what their response is.
I’m getting invisible/ghost wheel chocks on the Longitude all of a sudden.
