I know the nxcub has a parking brake because I can bind a button to it. However inside the cockpit, below the firewall above the left rudder pedal, a 3d representation of the level is missing, at least I can’t see it. Can someone confirm this? If indeed it is missing, I’ll send a bug report.
I’ve only had FS24 a few weeks, and after having some difficulty keeping the X-Cub from digging the wings into the ground on landing, I decided to try the NX-Cub last night. Well that was disappointing:
- The landing lights do not work. Not in steady or pulse mode. The switch is clickable but doesn’t seem to operate with my keybind which seemed odd. The keybind itself doesn’t work either.
- Missing sounds for some (all?) switches.
- The right side window cannot be opened - the handles are unclickable.
- The passenger is invisible. Tried setting the weight and loading/unloading several times, and while the CG and “stance” of the aircraft will update, there’s no one there but a heavy ghost.
10 months post release and still these simple obvious bugs persist?
and don’t try to use the NXCub to obtain your instrument rating. The nav. radios don’t work!

Whoops!!
Apparently, this is now fixed! I just fired it up and it is no longer “X’ed” out with the large red Xs like it was. On first check it seems to be working normally.
I wonder now if they didn’t also implement a few other updates/fixes in this latest WU20 - Japan yesterday, 09/25/2025?
I got WU20 first last night, so in my case, everything I experienced was after.
