Devs of first party partners can’t lift a finger generally unless/until Microsoft commissions them to do so as Microsoft is the owner of the product, even if they didn’t make it. That’s why these forums exist - so that Microsoft can be aware of a bug and then, as they decide to, task that issue to the responsible party for work.

I just cant get the GPU to work eventough there is an switch for external power
Issues:
- graphical artefacts with the doors
- cargo door cannot be opened
- beta range is not simulated at all (full aft beta still makes the airplane move forward)
- zoom is weird in this aircraft (causing fisheye effect)
- engine simulation in general is very poor
- engine sounds could need improvements

I experienced the wheels sinking into the pavement issue on take off the first time I flew it. The plane just suddenly fell over and was dragging the left wing tip on the ground?!
My biggest issues are
- I lost the 2020 Aerosoft version that I owned!! It was never restored to 2024!! It just went into thin air.
- The 2024 version is a far cry from the Aerosoft version. It’s an unacceptable replacement.
- I want the long nose version back. If you were only going to model one version, then why didn’t you make it the long nose version?! Nobody wanted the short nose version.
- I want more than two lame liveries. I want some liveries that look like new airplanes, not just old weathered beaters.
- The neon blue cabin floor has got to go! It ruins the look of the cockpit.

We are talking in this forum about the DHC-6 delivered by MS/Asobo. The issues with this plane have to be resolved, bur your complaint aims to Aerosoft.
Why do you buy planes with this strange Aerosoft installation procedure? You bought a 2020 version. And it is not compatible to 2024. Finish!
Liveries for the current Twin Otter may come in the marketplace, a better DHC-6 too.

I share your experience with the Aerosoft version. The 2024 version is far from being comparable and needs so much work.

The issue is that the Aerosoft plane that we bought has been taken away with no opportunity to get it back. Virtually every other plane released for fs2020 has a compatibility upgrade path to fs2024, even if there is a small fee involved, but with the twin otter we are stuck with the abomination that is currently in the sim, which doesn’t look like it’s going to be improved any time soon.

has anyone managed to get this to follow an ILS. Arms the GS, captures the GS, starts to follow the GS then nosedives toward the ground every time. Anyone?

Sure. Same method I use with all other planes no issues. ILS works ok for you in Twotter?
I haven’t shot an ILS in the twitter in a while, so don’t know for sure.
Kinda hoping theres some weird trick in the twotter I’m not using , doing something wrong. DHC-7 (and every other plane) flies same ILS perfectly ok in same circumstances.
It’s so horrible that for a long time I thought it was a broken texture and model not loading, given so many things broken.
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I noticed the landing gear flex when turning is extremely exaggerated.
At low speeds, if you start turning the airplane balances exaggeratedly to the sided, to the point that the wing touches terrain if you slightly touch the rudder. Has this been noticed? And if yes, has been logged?
Probably because Hans Hartmann made the one in 2024, and he is also a developer for Aerosoft, who made the one for 2020…
