Thanks,

Wait, this is available in MSFS 2024? All my other marketplaces purchases show up except for the condor

Search in the other planes by this author. The sim is sorting variants by author in some cases. For instance many Carenado aircraft are variants of the C170B. And if it’s a variant, you can’t search for it.

searching oliver moser does nothing at all. Can’t see this plane in the list, no other planes I have are made by this dev.

Unfortunately you can’t trust the search tool, as I noted. I have the Mooney, it’s a variant of the C170 for me, but, if I search for Mooney, it says it doesnt exist. But, you could be very right about the Condor not having been released yet. I’ll look when I get in the sim again. I have Aviator, so it should be there if they’ve released it.

They haven’t released a list of what’s released and what’s not yet.

Perhaps things have changed for you by now, but, yes, I do have the Condor, and did when you asked, and it’s just in the list. As far as I can tell, I have all the Microsoft/Asobo planes I purchased with the Aviator package, and those that I purchased in the Marketplace in 2020. As a general rule, for a large variety of reasons, I don’t tend to purchase from the Marketplace, but, there’s a few exclusive planes I wanted to have at the time of purchase and those are there. So I can’t speak for all Marketplace aircraft, I pretty much only had some of the Carenado planes and I think a couple of others.

All the Carenado planes are missing their icao_model designation, so, they’re showing up randomly as variants of other Carenado planes. The AN-2 is organized weirdly, I haven’t figured out what’s different about the White and Metal livery models. I assume they’re analog gauge versions, and something different about them. The DC-3, don’t get me started, but that’s just 1 model, no variants, and all just liveries for the various variants.

Hopefully somebody goes through and fixes all the existing planes so they’re at least grouped properly as models, variants, and liveries of each variant. That’s totally not the case today. The library is a mess. My hopes aren’t high though, because, as before, developers don’t have a consistent perception of how the SDK team meant for their planes to be organized, and it doesn’t seem many read the SDK in 2020, and it’s much more complicated now in 2024 how to put together a plane.

If anyone tries to install 2020 liveries, or purchased them in the Marketplace, good luck finding the plane you want to fly. The search tool doesn’t work very well at the moment, hopefully it’s just not finished in its coding yet, and wow, since the library organization coding has changed so much, if they’re not updated to 2024 standards, it will just be an inconsistent mess. So, my advice is, don’t install 2020 liveries until they’re updated to 2024 standards.

After constantly restarting the game and trying everything I could think of, I just gave up an uninstalled 2024. I’m back to happy days flying the condor in 2020  happy it works for you, it did not work for me.

This bug exists in 2020 as well. The rudder and elevator trim tabs are set to extremes and do not seem to respond.

Does not appear to have functioning exterior lights.

December 4th 2025 Updates:

Focke Wulff FW200 Condor

Version 0.2.2

  • Fixed overly effective elevator authority.
  • Fixed unresponsive aileron, elevator, and rudder trim tab animations.
  • Radio operator lamp now turns on.
  • Fixed the external HUD airpseed color ranges to be more accurate.
  • Fixed inverted mouse dragging on magneto switches.
  • Fixed landing light being too dim to see at all.
  • Fixed Generator switches tooltips
  • Fixed cockpit/cabin lighting so lights come on wherever the knob is set when electrical power is turned off/on.

Hi everyone, sorry, but I don’t understand why the Focke-Wulf Condor, even with a full tank, has such a limited range (702 nm).
Am I doing something wrong? Because the market specs stated 2,200 miles.

Thanks!

Hello there, how did you calculate this range? Was it based on actual fuel consumption or the in-game numbers? I haven’t checked the fuel consumption in 2024, but when I tested it in 2020 it seemed to be doing about those 2,200 miles it was supposed to.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
I haven’t done any specific calculations yet; I just selected the aircraft for a first flight and saw that in the aircraft selection window, when it gives you a recap of the characteristics, it had 702 nm. Now I’m testing it in a full-fuel flight, adjusting the lean mixture (power and propellers) and seeing how it performs. The flight I’m currently taking with full fuel is Munich-Rome Fiumicino.

Forget to say I’m on MSFS2020. Sorry!

I see, well the performance should be identical. I just took her up in 2024 to check the actual numbers in little nav map (0.7ATA, 1,800RPM and mixture leaned for best endurance) and this is what I get:

Do be careful about icing though, this is with all anti-ice enabled:

Thank you, you’ve been very helpful. As soon as work allows, after this test flight to see how the plane behaves, I’ll also study the manual.
Thanks again.

Anytime, just glad some are flying this wonderful bird
I got really good performance down at 1,000 meters ~3,200feet btw.

Be careful with your calculations. You’re words are mixing nautical miles and miles, and is that 702nm out and back range, or total distance, and at what altitude are the 2,200 mi and 702 nm measured at and what engine settings? I wouldn’t trust the World Map circle, or the specifications window in aircraft selection. I think it’s calculated using values from the aircraft.cfg that developers rarely fill in properly. But I don’t know that what I just said is true, that it gets those numbers from the aircraft.cfg. It is true that developers rarely fill in every field in any of the config files properly, and I wouldn’t trust the World Map circle either.

The only way is to try a 13-hour flight and see how it goes…
