MSFS2024 Install Dir & Community Folder

Hi,

In 2020, I had a small SSD and then I installed the Community and Official directories on a bigger one. I had my launcher on my C: drive and the content stuff on my F: drive. It gave the option to do so for MSFS2020. I did this as I had all kinds of weird problems if I installed 2020 on my F: drive. Maybe I am paranoid of installing 2024 directly on F:?

However, for MSFS2024, I installed it in my C:\XboxGames but I want to again put my Content and Official Directories on F:. Can this be done? Do I just need to install everything to my F: and not worry about the original issue? For reference my C: is 512GB and my F: is 2TB, thus why I want to do this.

Yes, it appears to work the same as FS2020 in that regard.
Place the packages folder where you want it, and point the entry in the Usercfg.Opt file to the new location.

Thanks, I did that and it appears to work…that is if I can sign in and not be out into the queue. I appreciate the help!

You can also do this in-game: My Library → chogwheel on the right, next to the search bar.
