Thanks,

-Lots of little things that were probably modded out in 2020. The prop speed controls have some inop settings and the flap indicator lights are not working. For the life of me i cannot find navigation lights in the cockpit.

-The EFB allows a cargo load up to 403 pounds which makes the plane grossly overweight and a dead sentence when done mid air

-like many others the plane model is zoomed out in the config screen which is subotimal to enjoy the livery selection

-two config options are availeble but i have no idea where they are different

-fuel pressure indicator on the garmin in completely in the red which should worry me i guess. Is this a feature or a bug ?

  • prop visual representation seems to be bugged although that could be graphic settings
  • p-factor seems to be overdone, while doing magneto checks the a/c tips on its side, i don’t think that’s proper, i could be wrong

I have tried to take two First Flight Missions using this aircraft but the passenger does not enter the aircraft. Same issue with the Pipistrel.

  • Auto-RPM is broken
  • Glass panel brightness in the dark is way to bright and can not be modified
  • Rudder input when taxing at low speeds is overly aggressive

think left-turn-tendency in flight is far too much.

baro knob does not work

The transponder screen stays dark.
No visible nav lights.
The rudder steering is not as smooth as i would expect.

This plane has several bugs, the pilot indicated location still grich on the plane, and incorrect flap limit speeds, when I fried by 55knot but system replyed warning as exceed flap limit speed.

I had similar problems even at idle excessive taxi speed outside view shows pilots head outside of plane trouble removing pitot cover will pass on flying this plane for a bit till next update? This was flying in vr.

Wrong flaps speed warning and pilot head looking out of the aircraft, speeds up at idle hence not correct at all. Unless that a nice plane.

On board instructions say that my maximum flap speed is 65 knots but when I do it in career mode, I get a penalty. The flap limit in career is 40 knots which is super slow so I have to do super slow, almost gliding landings. I deploy two at a time as soon as I get to 40 knots. However, the ideal landing speed is around 39 knots so… I go around 35, then speed up a little before touching ground. It’s super hard to get that buttery smooth landing without getting the flap penalty. If the runway is long I can land without relying on the flaps but slowing down while descending on this plane is hard.

On career mode, if you have a passenger, the pilot shifts to the backseat and sticks his head out of the plane.

Some lights are not working.

Can’t change the maximum RPM of the aircraft. It says I can set it around 4700 RPM. But if I go 3rd person the plane can reach around 5500+ RPM. But can’t control it in the cockpit.

Landing lights doesn’t seem to work. Actually, some lights in the plane are not working.

It’s a good plane but it needs a lot more work

How is it even possible that almost ONE YEAR after release the prop visuals are still this bad?

Who tests this stuff?

I haven’t even left the ground yet, so who knows what horrors awaits me if I do.

Hi,

Why should I vote if I cannot see the results of the other voters?

My Personal Comment & Observation

My understanding is that this is done so that the current vote tally has no influence on the voter. This is common in many voting scenarios in & outside of the gaming world, such as consumer market surveys, etc.

It’s been a year now. Here is a laundry list of things I would like to see done for the JMB VL3.

  1. Autopilot
  2. Working parachute system
  3. Opening fuel caps
  4. Opening oil hatch and dipstick
  5. Working Heater and Ventilation pull knobs
  6. Improved propeller graphics.
  7. Working AUTO switch on Flap and Propeller Controller
  8. Working fuse/circuit breaker panel

I doubt we’ll see this upgrade. The VL3 is a nice tourist plane, but few people fly it at MFS, so they probably won’t focus on it.

The VL-3 as licensed and originally modeled from JMB never had a coupled AP. That’s actually pretty common, this isn’t a long range IFR aircraft. It’s a short range leisure VLA intended to be handflown all the time.
