Have you ever been in a Ju in flight and stood in the cockpit? I just know this, and not what Hugo Junkers sold in the Thirties… I would like to fly in today’s environment.
You expressed your opinion, I expressed mine… I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with yours.
My JU 52 still says „not creator approved“ in MSFS 2024 My Content. Is it not planned to at least give it the verified status, if not a native 2024 version? This would be the minimum as I am sure many people don’t enable the content because they feel unsafe to do so.
Yes it is safe to enable in 2024, one of the best of Local Legends.

Apparently an update to version 3.0 dropped on January 20th, but I am unable to locate any notes about what changed? Anyone have an idea?
Not sure, but I was having problems with brakes not functioning, both parking brakes and normal brakes (or then I did something wrong), now they seem to work, can anyone confirm?
Edit:

Hard to say. I just noticed the second hand on the clock back-tracks from 60 to zero when it reaches 12 oclock. ![]()
Yeah, my problems with brakes continues. It is only when I start c&d and not when starting ready for take off, so I think I must do something wrong when doing c&d. Must read checklist more carefully I guess.

1939 or Retrofit?
1939

Hey, six posts above yours.

Thanks - for me, it claimed the date was 2/20, so I frankly did not think to look back in time.
Does brakes work on your 1939 version when you start cold&dark, both normal and parking?Mine only works when starting on runway. Anyone? (pc and 2024)

I may be misremembering, but I thought you needed to have one of the air pressure valves opened for the brakes to work.
The valves are at the knee level of the copilot’s side of the instrument panel.
In the actual airplane, one valve is used when refilling the pneumatic tank, and the other is for supplying air pressure to the system.
The brakes were a bit weird, too, in that you applied them by retarding the throttles. The center lever would apply both brakes, and the left/right lever would apply left/right brake independently.
In the sim I think we have pivoting rudder pedals like most aircraft today. There was an update, at some stage, that may have implemented a bit of this, but then I think a subsequent update may have reverted it to pedal operated again.
The manual states engine start order is 3-2-1, and engine 2 drives the hydraulic pump.
I fly this plane a lot, and I’ve noticed odd light reflections in the windows. These reflections blink on and off, but there are no lights anywhere in this screenshot, and there are no blinking lights in the cockpit. So, I am wondering where these phantom lights could be coming from. Any ideas?
Thanks for the suggestion, but I cannot still make them work, I’ve run out of valves and switches to try. ![]()
I tried to see if something is in different position when starting at runway, but cannot see differencies.

Did you remove the chocks?
It’s one of the switches on the bulkhead behind the copilot’s seat.
The problem is brakes not braking, pedals move. Well, I might have to use those chocks for parkingbrake and just use one engine to carefully accelerate, or could this be a bug report time…then again, this plane is not marked compatible 2024 from author, so maybe not.

When I get back home in a few hours, I’ll see what I experience with it.
Are you in 2024 or 2020? I don’t have 2020 installed, so I’ll only be able to test 2024 for you.
