I’m also on Xbox and I’ve seen the various reports of odd behaviours with the default 407 but I find it enjoyable to fly with no quirks. I find it very similar to Taog’s Lama. No assists and using a Velocity One Flight Stick. So I’m afraid I don’t think you can put the different user experiences down to different platforms.
Additionally I fly often with a friend who is on PC and he does experience issues and odd behaviours with the 407. Usually most a/c behave the same for both of us though.
Can confirm I’ve hit the exact same thing. I’m burning 29 GPH right now sitting on the tarmac!

Really was hoping the weird longitudinal oscillations would be fixed by now but they are still present in the H125, R66, and the newer Huey by Taog’s/Asobo. This is most noticeable watching the tail in external view from the side. It probably needs to be said that I’m well aware helicopters have vibrations but not the same longitudinal oscillation across multiple rotor systems of varying types.
Still no fix for the excessive fuel burn?
Back months later to see if any issues have been addressed and would you look at that. Nothing has changed.
