windows are too reflective & the interior of the plane does not mask reflections from underneath. arrows indicate motion of reflected blobs

I just wanted to add some positive feedback - really enjoying this plane and on the whole very well done in my opinion. Well done Got Friends and thank you for your efforts. You guys are the sim masters of STOL!
It does rather highlight how shameful the state is of some of the other supposedly ready included aircraft, especially those that were carried over from the previous sim (ācoughā PC-6 ācoughā). How that got into the release version given its current state I just canāt understand, and I know itās not the only one.
Anyway, not to take away from the positive feedback for this plane. Again great job Got Friends - keep up the excellent work!

Is it supposed to be belching smoke?
Does the plane have autopilot? I see the AP master switch but not familiar enough with the avionics to know how to use it
Go to the clipboard and turn off smoke generation. I donāt know why itās on by default.

Yes, you need to enable the AP master switch and then the controls are within the G3X flight controls menu.
I really like it. Overall itās well made. But the ground loop tendency seems to be exaggerated. Would be nice to have a variant with smaller wheels and a 4-blade prop.
speaking of reflections, what is this even a reflection of? the reflected window has rounded corners, and looks like an openable panel in the middle of it.
where can I get this aircraft?
The Norden is one of the gems of the new sim. It is the ultimate bushplane and performs so well it almost feels like cheating. Itās not surprising that Got Friends can deliver the goods. The hot tip for this aircraft is to have a control mapped to the spoilers and in this case it operates the leading edge slats. Itās a refreshing addition and behaves differently from the flaps.
This plane is worth the upgrade to premium deluxe by itself.

With patch 3, I have heat blur on the floor of the cockpit in VR.

Saw this this afternoon, right eye only. As with the Draco, as you know. Iāve also seen complaints about heat blur in the PC-12.
That itās happening in the Norden is interesting because AFAIK itās an internal combustion engine, whereas the other two are turboprops.
Hands down my favorite plane so far. I have found two issues so far, in career cargo missions no ācargoā shows up in the cargo area and if you use FCR to record then the playback flickers all of the liveries at once.
Iāve reported both issues in the bug forums and on the GF discord today.
Iād love to have another livery for it to confirm the flicker bug is due to the livery options on the clipboard but I donāt know if anyone has created one/can create one yet.

flap speeds are listed on the left A-pillar, so you would think that would be zero excuse for the guy coding flap overspeed demerits in career mode to not know his specs. they are right there, guys. please make them match. because Iām tired of getting flap overspeed warnings at 40knots. i thought it was me, then i was on a long flight today and was looking around (got friends makes the BEST interiors IMHO) and saw the sticker and was NOT HAPPY. āTHEN WHY AM I GETTING YELLED AT!!ā
Full flaps extended limit is 39 knots, right? So it penalizes you at 40 knots. Iāve been playing around this a bit and seems correct, sometimes, even if it is too strictly enforced. If I extend the flaps too quickly, or the airspeed is changing, I can still get this penalty even when Iām seemingly in a OK on indicated airspeed, so thereās something else going on there. Anyway, this can make S&R missions a pain in the ā ā ā where youāre sometimes very quickly changing into a landing configuration to land off field or go around when the terrain isnāt good.

these have proven to be the hardest missions for me by far. I have like a 20% pass rate for various reasons. I marked it up to ADHD/PEBKAC/Skill issue and sold the plane. Im really enjoying cargo ATM.
Does anyone know if there is a binding for the wing slats for this plane? I canāt seem to find it?
