ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Back when the PlayStation version released on update 4 I bought it for me and my wife and we would do free flights together and have no problems seeing each other but tonight we tried it for the first time since updating to SU5 and we could no longer see each others airplane or see the name tag nothing showed and we were in a group like we did before

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

All the time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start MSFS24 on ps5

  2. Go into free flight and pull the flight plan

  3. Send invite to wife for group

  4. Start the flight at the same time together

  5. Completes flight still unable to see each other

  6. Restarts MSFS

  7. Try’s again using a different airport just as a departure

  8. Still fails

What peripherals are you using:

N/A on ps5 console only with DualShock controller just base game with world updates and the aircraft provided for standard edition on both consoles wife’s is a ps5 pro with a DualShock only

Online multiplayer on the Xbox console requires an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Could this also apply to the PS5?
It’s just a guess. I don’t have a PS5.

We both have the ps plus

Check your settings sometimes after a su update they revert back to default. Show traffic nameplates always defaults to off.

Were you connected to the same multiplayer server ? and do you have Multiplayer options enabled ?
(Not sure if Playstation have the same options since I am on ms-store)

I toggled all 3 on and still no resolution

Found a solution and fixed it just had to switch from west coast sever to east coast and now it’s working just fine thank you for telling me to go check those

In order to see others users you want to fly with, all must be connected to the same server.

Moved to User Support Hub since a solution as been marked.
