In the SU14 update notes it says “Fixed an issue of players not seeing each other in multiplayer”, this is still not fixed as I cannot see the players aircraft only a nameplate if that is turned on on Xbox, if I don’t have nameplates on, the sky is mostly empty
I posted as my specific bug was relating to Xbox, and it has been merged into a PC thread which is why I didn’t want it to get lost as we are always advised to tag the right platform. However, thank you for confirming it is still open as a bug and being looked at.

Theres is still a unique issue for the C172 in MP where there is a channce that it will try t match to an AI C172 that has no model !!.
In that case, you will not see a plane .
There may be Wombii Fix for that, on flightsim.to

I can confirm that player visibility is still a thing. Occurred 5 minutes ago.
Sure this will not help anyone to reproduce this issue but I just want to let you know that its not completely fixed yet.
It would be smart to prioritize the visibility of friends airplanes then the rest.
Once again promises of multiplayer being fixed is a lie, we did a group flight today and bingo like clockwork we all experienced multiplayer issues with people vanishing and some not, also lots of stutters and pausing continues… this is getting old now and frustrating it kills the mood of flying
Still just as bad in my experience. PC. Various servers. “All Players” mode. Sometimes it’s ok, sometimes it’s intermittent, and sometimes it’s a problem for the entire session. I fly along with 6 - 10 other players normally and it’s unusual for an event to be trouble-free; generally one or more of us experiences visibility issues.
Done a few group flights since the update and the disappearing multiplayer aircraft and disappearing models seems to have not only not improved but in fact gotten worse since. Hopefully this is looked into more and not written off as solved
I know for a fact, that the World Map will see any of my “Friends” if they are on MP, no matter what server they or I are using.
Never really paid too much attention to “Non Friends” .

The answer 'appears" to be YES.
No matter what server, planes flying on any of the servers, will show up around you on the world map..
But when you go to FLY mode, you will only see the Planes that are on the same server as you.
"But (to me) only Appears, as it is inconsistent – as if when you move servers, the ones that were there may or may not change/disappear .. so you really have no idea what is going on !!
Its like if you are in a MP session, and you change your plane in DEV mode – You see yourself in the different plane, but everyone else who is already on the server, still see you in your original plane
