Do you have any freeware addons for Iceland installed in your community folder? If so, remove them and try again.

No Sir. I dont have.
I have an empty Community folder and cannot get the landing challenge to Isafjordur BIIS to work without a CTD. Have tried everything including a reinstall of that landing challenge and the airport.
I need this to get the Decathlon Achievement 
The other challenges and bush trips seems to work fine. Its just this one.
Issue Solved!
After a few hours of research, I found the CTD reason, and this is a program that is hard to believe. the CTD reason is âREX - REAL GLOBAL AIRPORT TEXTURES MSFSâ. I hope this is useful for other readers.

same, CTD on landing challenge. I tried to delete all in the community folder, and download again the BIIS airport and the landing challenge but donât work
Solved! the zinertek addon wass the problem. I buy it in the marketplace and donât have it in the community folder, just deleted it from the content manager, and works

Just installed the last version with Nordics, and trying to load Kopenhagen (FlyTampa) or Roskilde (default apt or add-on, same issue), the sim CTD
Every time there is an update all the advice is âempty the Community folderâ but no mention of addons in the âofficial folderâ which have been installed via the Marketplace.
As can be seen by your fix it should be pointed out about the âofficial folderâ should also be cleared via the Content Manager in preparation of a Sim/World update.

I followed an advice concerning Zinertek add-on, but to no avail; the sim CTD.
my official folder contains 260 GB.
Are you suggesting to make a fresh install with every update?
Plus, after reinstalling the official folder, the cause for CTDs will also be reinstalled.
Addon incompatibilities have been a thing and will continue to be a thing.

Iâve a Steam install, which gave me the option of specifying my Official and Community folder locations. I use Addon linker for my community folder and have very few items in my Official. Addon linker allows me to remove the links and for the Official I just move the addons out of the folder and delete my Content.XML.
A reinstall may exist in my future but I donât particularly want to do it and Iâm not advocating it. All I am saying is that clearing just you community folder doesnât work for everyone or every addon, and that you âmayâ need to consider the content in your Official Folder as sometimes the marketplace addons need updating to prevent CTDs
Remove Zinertek or/and Rex airport textures from the community folder.
I have already had two CTDs while trying to get from EPGD to ESKN in FBW A320. They occur ~15min after take-off while I am over Baltic Sea.
I donât have anything aside of EPGD & ESKN 3rd party sceneries in community folder (both sceneries are working properly)
Never had Zineartek or Rex.
Yesterday (after the patch) I flew from LMML to EPGD without any problems. Perhaps new Asobo content is faulty.
