Hello All,
I am new to MSFS2020, but spent many years flying with FSX.
In FSX I had a multiple monitor setup that I don’t seem to get to work in MSFS. Wondering if it is at all possible…yet.
In FSX I used to have a single external view with no cockpit displayed.
Below that screen I also had 2 further monitors which displayed all the gauges (PFD, ECAM that sort of thing).
Can this be done? When I search on multiple monitors I come up with results telling me how to get 3 monitors for external views.
thanks in advance
Yes it can be done quite easily.
There are several ways of doing that.
Me, I am using two cheap tablets and Spacedesk (free) to turn them into monitors. Then with Popout Panel Manager (also free) you can put the PFD and MFD on the tablets and voila.

You should take a look at Air Manager for the instruments and then just use an appropriate view on the main monitor for the sim. There are several Air Manager related topics on this very forum to start your research.
Here’s a small sample showing how it looks for some of the aircraft I fly. Got glass cockpits too. This was just what photos I had to hand.

Hi… This is what I am looking for, and I guess judging by your post it is not something that can be done without 3rd part software. I know that I could do this in fsx with no extras, so I will look into this solution. thanks!
Also, I noticed that there is a home cockpit option in the display section, but that does not seem to do what it promises as the VC still stays displayed.
Only the devs seem to know what that is supposed to do. Best guess is what you suggested but that only helps with uncluttering the sim view. You’ll still need something for the instruments.
