My First FS - Newbie question - Any good learning resources?

First question: Do you want to know everything a real pilot knows, or are you satisfied with a fraction of total knowledge? And do you know already what is your favorite slice?
I like sailplane aerobatics. This is a very special slice. I do not care about Garmin G1000 UI simulation or IFR flight or ATC radio. Because FS2020 is not my full time job.

I might recommend these MSFS2020 video tutorials by Squirrel. Gentle and clear introductions to various aspects of flight. I hope he continues and does a comprehensive series.

+1 for Squirrel’s videos! I did the first few in-game training missions and was still a bit confused. After watching Squirrel’s fourth tutorial video in the playlist linked above I had that “AHA!” moment where everything just clicked for me. Highly recommend!

another +1 for Squirrel

This website (navfltsm.addr.com) has been hugely helpful. Exactly what I needed. Learned so much reading through it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Also a recent fan of Squirrel on YouTube, enjoying his videos as well.
