Curious if anyone else can help me find a binding for the landing lights that actually rotates through the 3 modes on the aircraft (Steady, Pulse & Off). Second, I one of the axis’ on my VelocityOne Flight set to Prop 1 Axis but when you decrease from 100%-0%, it gets stuck on the detent around 50%. I’ve watched the videos I could find from others on how to set it up, but mine doesn’t seem to behave as it would with the mouse drag through the full range. I have my detents below 0% working to pull it down into feather and it will increase up to 100% from there so I can fly it just fine.
Thanks
Hey! I’m also having difficulties with binding the landing lights on the Kodiak. It seems that you can not bind any key to the landing lights.
Anyone ever figure this out?
Hey guys, the developer used a custom method for the Landing lights, it cannot be bound directly within the sim control options menu unfortunately.
I use Lorby’s Axis and Ohs software which allows more customization, if you’re interested. It’s not free, around $20 USD.
It’s quite powerful, so be prepared for that if you’re willing to learn how it all works. I personally have Stream Deck Plus and XL’s, which then work quite well for flight simming if you use the free profiles created by Guenseli on flightsim.to.
The Stream Decks are probably my favourite peripheral of my entire setup, they aren’t cheap, but if you can get at least one, ideally two of the Plus models, it’s been a massive game changer for me.
Take care,
If you set a keybind to toggle propeller thrust reverse you can get the prop lever to go into feather. It does take moving your physical lever in the wrong direction though.
But if you are just shutting down, clicking the thrust reverse key while in full prop forward the in game lever will jump to full feather. Works great once you get used to it.
I answered the op. Thought I would let you know.
