Can all of you please post what nvidia driver you are using, dlss version and short good or bad performance with that pair. Dont get elaborate with the performance. Just say acceptable ,poor, or ok. Lol please, im curious with this combination
Moved to User Support Hub > Hardware & Peripherals as OP is requesting assistance from the community that is not specific to the SU3 Beta
Specific to simupdate 3. So yes. It is
No problem. You did not mention that you only wanted responses from SU3 Beta participants (The beta is not closed, so anyone can read & respond.)
Moving back…
DLSS 310.2.1.0, Nvidia 576.4 Very happy with the performance.
Same, DLSS 310.2.1.0, Nvidia 576.40. Very happy with the performance.
DLSS 310.2.1, FSR 3.1 1.0.1. 41314, NVIDIA 576.40. Good performance.
Assuming those DLSS and FSR versions are the latest in DLSS swapper, then as above. Latest driver.
Edit - Just had the best flight I’ve had in weeks. SU3 is a winner for me at the minute.
Thats whatcim using so far and VR performance is absolutely atrocious. Longitude on up in size is unusable. 2d is fine.
DLSS 310.2.1.0 through Nvidia App, 576.40 driver. Good performance.
With a I7-14700F MB Nvidia RTX4070 Super Driver version 32.0.15.7283 and date
March 14 2025. No crashes jitters or studders, pretty smooth.
Does this data make any sense to you without also knowing the GPU and perhaps CPU, and sim version (SU1, SU2, SU3 beta) that informed the impression reported?
- nvidia driver: 576.40
- DLSS: 310.2.1.0
- Performance: OK
- PC: MSF2024 SU3 + AMD 9800x3D + nVidia RTX 5070ti + 34" 3440x1440 60hz
- nvidia driver: 576.40
- DLSS: 310.1.1.0
- Performance: Heavy flickering/shimmering trees in some areas using DLSS / Balanced. FPS down to its knees. FPS drop anomaly re-occurrs.
The best performance to me is SU 2 final release. Solid and promising.
Is it because I am using an older DLSS?
TAA, 566.14
Just because Asobo recommends the latest NVIDIA drivers for SU3 testing doesn’t mean they’re the best. I listen to my software and hardware like a doctor with a stethoscope and I know what’s good for it. In my case, any driver newer than 566.14 is garbage.
MSI X870E Carbon WIFI, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 6000 CL26
The advantages of NVIDIA driver 566.14 include noticeably less stuttering in games and reduced VRAM usage; I should add that I don’t use DLSS.
Thanks. Originally they said in release 576.20. I understand why, their internal testing was with that. Im surprised by all the updated dlss files here.
I think you probably meant driver 576.02. If that version was listed in the release notes at the time, then that’s a serious problem - because 576.02 caused external monitoring tools to misread the GPU temperature. I really hope Asobo eventually recommends a different NVIDIA driver version.
@CasualOne7471 , please why are you collecting data with your own survey thread and what are you trying to accomplish by collecting it? There are already other threads discussing current and recent drivers, so why duplicate that here?
