Leg 10! From Leeds Bradford Airport EGNM to Haverfordwest Airport EGFE
This time we are flying in the Cub Crafter X Cub
Shortly after tale-off with the airport in the background
Flying over Bradford, the history of the city can be traced back to 1086 when it was mentioned in the ‘Doomsday Book’
Today the town is home to 539800 people and is the 7th largest metropolitan area in England
Flying over the town of Halifax with the weather starting to fog up.
Flying over Rochdale with Manchester straight ahead
Flying over the outskirts of Manchester, sadly there wasn’t much of the city visible as it was covered in fog/low hanging clouds.
Some windturbines with the river Mersey in the background, had the weather been better you would’ve also been able to see Liverpool in the background.
Wales and the welsh mountains straight ahead
Pretty cool and a little bit scary flying this low with mountains and fog.
Set the altitude so I was just able to fly over the mountains
And I mean just!
The weather cleared up, and you could suddenly see a lot more!
Flying past the town of ‘Aberystwyth’… Don’t make me pronounce it please!
Looks like a caravan park, which there seems to be quite a few of a long the welsh coast.
Half of this town is actually also a caravan park.
Even in rainy Britain it’s feasible to have a solar farm.
That is West Wales Airport or Aberporth Airport as it’s also known as.
The town of Cardigan in the background.
Getting ready to land at the airport, and also the last photo of this leg, as I again forgot to take a photo after the landing
Next time we are flying to London, or more precisely London City Airport EGLC
