I now only need an MD11, a 737-200 and a 727.
From then on, I will be able to quit my job, my family and eat minimally. No more social life, just my VR goggles and my dog in a secluded cabin with good internet connection.
There is a large audience for the aircraft in question, especially those who enjoy the freedom of freighter aviation. There are always
mine exploration equipment or oil equipment needing to be transported to a new place in the world, without children, on-board services, or passengers to assess their hard landings. Just men and women working, making coffee at 3 am, for the world to run on time.
I would love it on our platform with iconic planes.
737-200:
Just Flight did a wonderful job with the BAE146. Please, the 737-200 will not have such a different line of work. You guys know how to do it.
727 or 707:
Same thing as the 737-200, but ok, much more complex, the whole flight engineer area seems to me to be something cruel for the developers.
MD-11.
An old plane with its structural defects, yes. But as automated as an Airbus (okay, almost, but it was incredible for the time when it comes to systems), the current MSFS wouldn’t give so many problems in development.
Any information about the development of one of these aircraft, let me know by replying here. I’ll be dreaming with the email warning “new message on the MSFS Forum. This is happening, they will launch one of these aircraft”.
military cargo planes are cool, but I think it would lack creativity for me to imagine jobs involved.
It’s fun how I simulate the world in my head to make sense.
I can now easily imagine that an important telephone tower broke down in Hamburg. It all depends now on me transporting new parts available in Salzburg, “my base”.
Next month, maybe my base will be Bogotá, a new country with new navigation challenges, destinations and terrains.
This can all be done efficiently using a 777 (no captainsim, please) or a 737-700 (thank you PMDG). But there’s a charm involved in old school aviation, the smell of leather and burnt oil, or like noisy engines gulping down rainwater while making an NDB approach. I love imagine this.
Yes we all have our dreams. But only death can fullfill this wish.
(Or half a million Dollars to pay the bills and eat for decades, but the second solution, all these Dollars, is very unlikely to get *gg).
That´s a very good choice, a solid 1980ies list of perfect airplanes! TFDi Designs should be your first choice to have a closer look at.
It´s literally a 727, almost!
Well sorry I don´t know if there was ever a Boeing 727, and I can´t remember having on in FSX either. The only trijets were the Falcon 50 and the L-1011 from Captain Sim. (And believe me, Captain Sim made really cool impressive stuff back in the FSX-days!
I had a 737-200 Classic for Flight Simulator X but I don´t remember what team made it. It had these strange tube-shaped engines without high bypass oversized N1 fan and looked very retro.
Completely agree regarding the MD-11. It’s positioned very high on my wishlist.
But, an absolute No 1 for me would be a high fidelity King Air.
Preferably with semi analogue avionics, a functioning weather radar, realistic turboprop engine management (in all aspects), fuel balancing, realistic electrical systems simulation, bleed air system and a/c, auto feather, prop synchrophaser, hot starts and failures.
That looks pretty good to me. Is there any way to track the project?
I love the 732 so much that I asked a professional to make my first model. I think about having 8 models ( 732 and 727 with different paintings and their catering services.
