Can someone who has tried this heli tell me how to remove the pilot so that I am able to fly from
left seat.

In the current state you cannot remove the pilot, we are working on this ability for a future update.

Just as a note, most helicopters are designed for the pilot to fly from the right seat. This comment is not intended to distract for your desire to use the left seat. I agree it would be good to have the choice to fly from the copilot/observer seat if you want.
I didn’t even know we had helicopters now in MSFS 2020. I thought Asobo said that will come only next year. I’m confused…
