Nav radio simulation - a lot of room for improvement?

Anyone else dissatisfied with MSFS’s “Crude” implementation of Nav radios.
ie

  • Fixed Digitally EXACT Range.
  • No Noise on audio Ident with increasing range (Like the Option in COM radio)
  • Flags based on a Database “Certified range”, rather than signal strength that varies with range & relative elevation.

Currently, the simulation in this area is highly unrealistic ( hardly evolved from early FSX days)
Since better range/noise simulation is already present with the COM radios, isn’t it about time to extend that to the Nav radio system (ILS, VOR and also NDBs) ?

If Asobo don’t / can’t do it, I’d be happy to pay for a 3rd Party Dev solution, as I find this is one of the most unrealistic aspect of MSFS, and potentially quite easy to greatly improve.

I’d be happy if they made the NAV audio louder. You can barely make it out.

That’s been a given for OVER 2 years now.
Right now, in SU10, we are lucky to have got Nav Audio back at all !!!

Difficult to imagine why it would take over 2 years , and still Asobo cannot increase a Nav radio, computer generated tone, to match the amplitude of the COM Radios !

Well I cool feature would be that flying low or behind mountains obstructs the signal or badly worsens it as in real life
