Navigational Aids None of my planes are picking up Vpath or ILS altitude changes

Since update 15 none of my planes are picking up vpath or Ils vertical guidance. Approach is on and the lower altitudes are displayed on the G1000 but when reaching the way point I continue at cruise level no matter the ILS or Approach chosen. Any itdas>

What annunciators do you see at the top of the G1000? You should see GS in white for an ILS approach, if memory serves, which then turns green when captured.

Also have you plugged in the NAV1 approach frequency?

And VLOC is enabled, not GPS.

Thank you both, I will confirm tonight

Thanks to both of you, it’ working. I think I was bailing too early on the flight plan approach on the RNAV.

So when I reach cruise, when is the proper time to turn on vpath and then on final, to turn on apprach - is there a milage limitaton on both?

Load a STAR or Approach, then use the Altitude Preselector to dial in the lowest authorized altitude on that leg. Press VNAV. Assuming you haven’t already passed it (meaning you dialed it in too close), a Top of Descent (ToD) marker will appear on your flight plan path - you may need to expand the map range to see it. All things being equal, the FMS will begin the descent crossing that point. You’ll have to manage the throttle to prevent overspeed.
