Navigraph Beta Version Question

Yeapp, Simconnect running and the icon is clicked. If I open navigraph using the desktop app, I can see my aircraft icon. Just not the one in the in-game panel.

Thank you for your post!

  • Beta 24 doesnā€™t show Add-On Aerosoft CRJ although it is installed in MSFS
  • Beta 25, however, works well for me, after updated today, the add-on appeared automatically.

Many thanks for your work, really worth and I am happy with the product and service, using Navigraph everyday and enjoy a lot!

Probably a bug, everytime I launch Navdata Center, this windows is always automatically opened at the same time!

Hehe, yeah, same here.

Hi guys,
indeed - forgotten something in beta 25. We have removed the debug window now and re-build beta 26. Quit the Navigraph Navdata Center please and re-start the app again - you should receive an update-notification to beta 26 directly in the app now. Follow the update-process and all should be ok ā€¦

Thank you for the hint and sorry for the mistake ā€¦
Cheers,
Richard

Itā€™s probably not SimConnect you must run, itā€™s the Navigraph equivalent, which I believe is called SimLink.

There is a known issue that moving maps is only partially working for some users. Most users are not affected. Weā€™re working on it.

For more information see MSFS 2020 In-Game Charts (Moving Maps) - Simlink/Moving Map - Navigraph

Ohh, I actually misunderstood that before, the Navigraph SimLink is running. Simconnect is automatically running whenever MSFS is running, right?

Like I said, I can see my aircraft icon on the moving map on my desktop App. just not in the in-game panel.

Are you planning on adding the LNM set to the new Navdata Center?

I would like to have an option to terminate the service as well when I quit the app.
I donā€™t like having the service still running in the system tray after I quit.

Probably not your case, just to make sure again, even in-game map, this option should be always checked to have the moving map during journey. Whenever you drag the map with mouse, this option is automatically unchecked.

Actually I am still using app instead of in-game Nav map, because the in-game map look laggy when I drag, not as smooth as in app.

But that button is just for having the map centered on your aircraft icon in the middle, right? and as you fly the map will move with it. In that case, the purple arrow icon which is your aircraft would be right in the middle at all times.

My problem isnā€™t that. My problem is the magenta arrow icon thatā€™s suppose to show on the map when you click the arrow to turn it on. In your photo, you have the arrow visible. For me, that arrow is never visible, so Iā€™m having trouble tracking my aircraft on the map, because itā€™s not displaying the icon. I can see the icon on the desktop app. But I canā€™t see the icon on the in-game panel.

I replied to you about this just before in this thread (Navigraph Beta Version Question - #27 by Stephendoc9443). It is a known issue and we are working on it.

Regards,

Stephen

I know thank you, Iā€™m just trying to explain to the others what I meant by it.

Ah, I see. Wasnā€™t clear to me before

Stephen

Iā€™m having an issue inputting a specific KSJC STAR into the FMGS for the FBW A320. No matter what I try it refuses to take the correct combination of transition, STAR, Via and approach.

Is that likely to be an issue with the current Airac cycle data or the FBW FMGS? Iā€™d like to submit it as a bug to someone :relaxed:

Thanks

When you use the Navigraph AIRAC please report this to our forum.
Thank you,
Richard

Hi.

I doubled checked and it is using the latest Navigraph Airac (I think at least). Iā€™ve installed it using the Beta softwareā€¦thereā€™s nothing else I need to do is there? I did ā€˜t install the desktop charts as I use my iPad, and I havenā€™t kept the software running behind the sim. Is that correct?

Cheers.

Again please - report this in our forum, thatĀ“s the better place to discuss this ā€¦

But in general, the in-game flightmanagement which will be used by the WorldMap and all in-game standard aircrafts are very, very limited - that has nothing todo which data you are using - if the stock mixed data or our standardized data from Jeppesen.

I assume thats one reason, why ASOBO has hire the WorkingTitle guys because they had developed a own flightmanagement tool in their CJ4, which is working very well with the BGLs. They try now to fix all this limitations/bugs in the sim in the next couple of months I guess.

Cheers,
Richard
