Navigraph import plan

Question on Navigraph and loading into Sim.
I create the flight plan in Navigraph Charts and then export it as .pln for 2020.
The issue is, it puts the aircraft on the selected runway chosen in plan.
This is obviously coming about when I go to World Map, Load/Save import flightplan and launch Sim.
Is there a way to create the flight plan, then once the aircraft is loaded, on the ramp already, then proceed to Activate the plan within the GNS 530 or G1000

If I’m interpreting you right, you don’t want to start on the runway. You can still do what you are doing, but you then choose a ramp start at the top of the screen before pressing fly.

Alternatively you can use Littlenavmap, or even bring in the Charts plan into LNM, and you can then integrate the ramp start position then export to MSFS format, finally bringing that into the sim.

It will still auto load the plan into the GPS though, if you were looking to do that by hand.

If I good understand you,

this is lottery

Thanks for the info, with a subscription in Navigraph, I was trying to use that flight planner. I imagine Little Nav map is similar.
Is there a way to bring the created Flight plan into the GPS, when parked at the apron instead of through the Load/Save function at the Launch of the sim.

Thanks

No, but you can hand load the plan by inputting all the waypoints and airways, virtually, by manipulating the controls on the FMS inside the cockpit.

Really, the quickest way to do this is once the plan is loaded at the World Map, and before you click Fly Now, use the Drop-down box on the Origin Airport that currently shows you’re starting at a given runway. Pick a ramp spot instead.

You can only do this using the drop-down box. Picking a ramp spot using the map will not be honored.

Then click Fly Now. You should start cold & dark at the selected ramp spot and once the Avionics are on, your flight plan is already loaded in the FMS.

Not the same GPS, but the TDS 750 does allow access to the host file system, and you can import flight plans into the GPS. The older PMS 530 also allowed this. The PMS50 750 also allows this.
