Nearest Airport List Odd Entries

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
I’ve noticed this in a few of the SU2 builds including the latest (1.4.13) during free flight. When using the Communications interface to select the nearest airport list there are two issues which come up often:

  • the airport your flying next to or even over is not listed
  • the list of airports that do come up have odd looking names - sometimes they even appear to be referencing buildings rather than airports

If you close the Communications window, reopen it and try again you’ll eventually get the airport you’re trying to select but it might take a few tries.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?

Could these be helipads? I rarely use ATC (so could well be wrong), but I don’t think it takes the type of aircraft into consideration when displaying such data - sort of like the World Map when setting up a flight, where you manually have to uncheck the Heliport & Helipads to declutter the map when one has selected an aircraft for the flight.

I think the ones with building names might be heli pads and that makes sense - just not use to seeing them. The ones with just numbers in the front though don’t look right.
