Neofly 4 - sandbox mode?

Hi,

I supported the neofly development once when it was in early beta, I see that the soft was release this summer.
So I tried it out and I was instant remembering a thing : the immediate constraints.
In the first place you have an imposed (cheap) aircraft and have to make all sort of qualification in order to fly (even if you did since two years, now you can’t). For example I want fly my C310, I have to pass a B grade, meaning 10 or 15 evaluation flights, that’s boring.
I don’t want pass it, I want fly with a purpose (=fictionnal mission), that’s all.
Neofly was for me a good mission generator with a possibility to have an economy, repair follow-up, etc.
Not another data meter that force me to be evaluated and graded.

I eared on neofly 3 there was a mode where you didn’t have to do these thing, or I saw it was possible to editing database too, but apparently devs didn’t like this.
And, I’m not sure but, it’s look like devs have just blocked all way to play it directly as you want to ?
Or I miss something.

I could editing my profile but, the bakcup file *.bkp is not in hexa, not in ascii, not a database, and I don’t know where are saved the data.

If anyone have an idea on this.

Note : it’s a personal licence so, I’m quite sure this is not in violation of any law about software, but, if it is, just tell me and I delete my message.

There’s no requirement like that. Just fly to or travel to an airport with a B qualification mission and fly it. I’ve gotten nearly all of my qualifications with one flight.

You can fly in Freelance mode and do anything without restrictions. You get limited rewards, however.

Ah ok, you mean that the panel “qualification” just fill itself by doing missions ? Like reward by doing this “good” ?
I’m too polite, I even didn’t try to do a mission without my B qualification …

EDIT : well, it seem you definitively need the qualification, I just can’t board my aircraft, as it’s written “No pilot with qualification B available at LFLG” (my home airport).

No.

In the Qualification screen, click on “B” and it will show you nearby airports with a plane that can be flown. Travel to that airport, add the qualification mission, load into that plane, and fly. If you complete it, you will be qualified.

OK get it.
So finally the qualifications are necessary.
Well, if you say that you succeeded in almost one flight maybe I could do that, even if I’m quite sad that there is no way to avoid it.
I’ll think about it !
Thanks.

Use autopilot to your advantage!

It’s completely different to neofly but I switched because of that, did you consider a virtual airliner?

Some people know about these but not everyone so wanted to share it.

I’m a member of skyteam virtual.

Not at all, but I’ve eared of it ; Ok I’ll go to read about skyteam, seem to be a very advanced VA !

The thing is, I’m really more a bush pilot but, sometimes, I very like use the F28 or the A320 of flybywire, that’s something. So, why not.
Thanks for the tips :+1:

I forgot about the VA part. That’s difficult with a 737 or airbus :see_no_evil:

Anyway can ben still fun. :+1:
