New Istanbul Airport is LIVE (BETA)

V0.60 is LIVE
Delete the previous version (Only “argaeus-ltfm-istanbul”)

Unzip the zip file into your Community folder
PLEASE! Check your installation directory before reporting a bug or CTD’s
Most of the issues from V0.50 were caused by wrong Installation
-Delete previous version from your Community folder ("argaeus-ltfm-istanbul 0.50 )DO NOT OVERWRITE IT
-Unzip “argaeus-ltfm-istanbul.zip” and copy the folder into your Community folder.

-Sınce this scenery is covering big area I have added LOD’s to improve performance.
-If you see low fps, try checking your system and sim before reporting.
-I did my best to optimize this project (Reduced polys into half, Added LOD to almost all of the objects), However, this sim is not in a stable state(YET), so your performance drop may be caused from the sim.

Changelog

-Fixed FPS issue
-Added reflections to windows
-Fixed texturing issues
-Bug fixes
-Added LOD’s
-Reduced poly count.

PS: Not working correctly with cracked versions of Navigraph BETA (Elevation issues etc…)

Enjoy your flights !

Hi, it turns out that the filename \global\scenery\modellib.bgl causes conflicts with other freeware, and ultimately starts breaking payware. Would it be possible for you to rename the file please? You will need to edit the raw xml to do so. Details are here.

This is just amazing thank you for this.

Hey there luckily I saw the related post before the update so we have already changed the modellib to LTFM_lib.
Enjoy your flights

Please can you explain, what you mean with “cracked” version - what issues do you mean here?
Thank you,
Richard

“SOME PEOPLE” have contacted me that they were having elevation or missing start ramp issues. After digging into the problem, it turned out they were not using the original version of Navigraph. As a licensed user of Navigraph I don’t want to deal with non original product issues. That’s why I had to mention it.

Ah understood, thanks for the clarification. Please let me/us know, when we can do something for you regarding the data … keep up the great work! Looks really amazing … :clap:t2:
Richard

Thank you for your support, since the last update everything works perfectly. We have reported duplicated runways (This airport is currently missing on MSFS’s default navdata) and your team solved the issue in last update.
Will seek help from you/your team in any case of conflict.

Regards,
Ali

Unless we are a subscriber to navigraph and using default navdata provided by the microsoft flight simulator itself, can’t we select the arrival from FMC ? I can select departure runway but I can’t select any runway for landing.

By the way amazing work, thank you so much.

Hey, glad you liked our project.
Sadly, if you’re not a subscriber to navigraph you won’t be able to select SID, STAR and Runways for the arrival. We have tried to add ils and waypoints but alwaysvended with CTD (No Surprise  )This issue should be directly reported to Zendesk. They have somehow added VOR/DME’s by default but you have to add them manualy to your FMC (For now). Whenever they add LTFM as default, then you will be able to see all through your FMC

Thanks a lot for the quick and detailed answer. I’ll probably wait them to integrate this into the simulator then

One more time, great work and thank you!

This navdata has been developed by Ali Rıza Mortas, in order to add LTFM Navdata for non-Navigraph users.
Simply drag the file into your Community Folder.
With this file you’ll be able to select SID, STAR and ILS approach for available runways

Special thanks to Ali Rıza Mortas for this project.

Enjoy your flights

Thank you so much it worked like a charm

Happy to hear that, had no time to test it, a coder has made this navdata. This will handle it till Asobo adds this airport into their default data

I am having a weird issue. Airport files are on Community folder but still i cant see LTFM even on MFS map. I checked content manager, base is there but argaeus-ltfm-istanbul folder is not. Do i have to make any other fix to make it work? thanks

Hey, seems like unzipping issue.
After opening the zip, open LTFM V0.6.1 file under that you will see argaeus-ltfm-istanbul.zip. You have to unzip that file into your Community folder

thanks! i guess you already answered to Flightsim.to. This is no the issue as i unzipped the second folder.
this is really weird…

Nice Asobo devs should take notes optimizing their airports

Wow! :pray::+1::+1:
