I don’t want to wait till November. There is that. The price is pocket change for me and my hobby. Good reason not to wait .
Great to hear the A319 is up next. Good to hear the pink cockpit glare is being addressed. It’s good that they aim for a different audience, and acknowledge that they cannot compete against Fenix and PMDG. For Xbox, this is a good airliner. For now. PC audience have better options
Read a few posts above you😉
Wish we could go a step further and make the controls/ systems/ cockpit more realistic. There are days I wish I had a PC but no budget for that right now.
Any ETA on first patch to sort crashing??
After my initial first positive impression (no CTD after 2 hours flight), i now can’t complete a flight without a CTD, usually right after landing.
This could be weeks, because it’s only via Marketplace…
Guess I’ll hold off til the CTDs are resolved. Thanks for your update, hopefully the fix will be sooner than later.
The way they communicate with their customers, i have good faith . A lot of issues are acknowledged and being worked on.
Anyone else on Xbox (or PC if you bought it) noticing that the plane is extremely floaty on landing? The auto throttle settles at 150kt or so when full flaps extended but from my experience the flare speed is about 120kt, which is less than the a320. Not sure what is going on, one would think it’d be 140kt but at that speed it just floats down the runway.
Yep, have that too. Just now on the way from Stuttgart to Trondheim/Norway. Will see how the final goes. Up to now I am quite pleased w. the plane… on Xbox there’s not much to choose from airliners. The cockpit obviously quite similar to the stock with a bit fresher look and more light inside (I do not mean the overexposed outside in the SU10 beta) which I think is closer to reality compared to the stock A320Neo. One thing that I still don’t think is close enough: the sound of the engines. As with all 3rd party mods and the stock A320Neo sound I’m missing the low pitch roaring sound under full thrust. The high whining sound with some of the 3rd party mods does not sound realistic to me.
At least the PC users are having the chance to be saved by the modding community.
I didn’t think there was anything new for the 320 in the first beta
Had the developer say, when maybe the A319Ceo will come?
No date, only that’s their next project.
In addition now that I completed a longer flight w. the A321neo LR (XBox):
- after 3 hours into the flight the AP failed and could not be reactivated
- selected mode didn’t work either so I learned the hard way to completely fly an airliner manually. Glad that I was not one of the passengers
- did a decent landing (glideslope and approach diamonds did show so I could use them to manage the final decent)
- first thing on the taxiway: screens got blank
- taxied to gate and shut down the plane
Are you in the Beta?
I want to like the plane and really am pleased with it other than it can’t land with a proper flare. The lift issue is significant in my eyes so if it’s not a topic to address I may ask for refund. Makes landing completely unrealistic.
I’ve done multiple 2/3hr flights with this plane with no issues, had one CTD today about 4hrs into a flight, however this happened when I had a load of notifications start coming up about loss of connection to services and so on. This seems to be a theme for me at the moment regardless of what aircraft i use (Xbox series X user). landing is frustrating with how much it floats, but I’ve found if increase my aircraft weight and most of the fuel in the centre tank it improves. It seems to fly better pretty much at it’s max takeoff weight.
Some of these statements feel completely inappropriate. On one hand, you have developers such as iniBuilds who will bring full-fidelity airplanes to both PC and Xbox. On the other hand, you have LVFR implies there’s limitation in the marketplace to make a great product and people who buy through it don’t deserve great quality addons.
November is only a few months away and I’d rather save up and give the money to iniBuilds for their future offerings
