I have MSFS2024 Premier Deluxe DVD version which I originally purchased using discs for my existing PC
However, I also have a Xbox S using separate digital version, which has a redeem code in the account (whatever this is)
They are both run from same MS/Xbox Account.
My question: if I purchase a new PC will I need to get a DVD drive again to run MSFS. Im unsure if the DVDs are now needed.I get occasional CD requests to insert DVD when running MSFS on PC.
Don’t take my answer as empirical but I suspect you can use the digital license on the PC as it is tied to the XBox account. You can use that on the PC as well as the XBox.
Someone will be along to correct me if not. 
Yes you should be able to run the digital version on pc as already said just set the pc up with your Microsoft account that you have on Xbox and all should be fine.
