Greetings from Orient!
New pilot with about 30Hrs of light time with basically GAs (Cessna 172, TBM 930, DA 62) on Xbox X. Great joy to experience the sky, also a lot of learning. Have downloaded manuals for Cessna, TBM, Garming 1000. Really want to simulate as real as possible. Now the biggest obstacle is the controller. It’s not very easy to do gentle maneuver with small aircraft. Best landing challenge I can get is B!
From my investigation, the only supported Joystick is Hotas One on Xbox X|S, but really don’t like the look. Is there any other options on Xbox? I really prefer the TCA Airbus, but it seems only supported on PC platform. Any recommendations?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks. Haven’t found much information about this one. Will check it out.
Thrustmaster boeing edition
The Thrustmaster Hotas One is a fantastic piece of kit. I questioned myself buying one at first but it is certainly a nice rig. You won’t be disappointed IMHO.
Hello, I finally got a Hotas One as you guys recommended. Joystick
part is fine with proper tuning on the resistance, but the throttle is really loose. Any way to fix
this issue by adding some rubber or sth. else? Has anyone had a working
solution already, before I mess around by myself.
One other thing is about the sensitivity setting. Now set at
-40%, and dead zone 3%. Also want to know if there is a verified better setting.
Thanks in advance. This has been a very helpful community
for beginners.
The quick and common ‘fix’ to keep the hotas throttle from flopping over is a couple rubber bands to either side of it to give it some resistance. Others have taken them apart and added internal sources of friction, cabinet door pads/foam tape/etc(do at your own risk as there’s a lot of cold soldered Chinese connections in there. There’s a bit on youtube about them.
