New Problem with TrackIR

Just yesterday, started having a problem with TrackIR in MSFS2020. Has worked perfectly until then.
After pressing F12 to center view, the view starts rotating at roughly 1-2 degrees/ second counter-clockwise so that the right hand side of the instrument panel view is lost. I have to re-center every minute or so or I’m looking out the pilot-side window. So far as I know, I’ve made no changes to any sim setting in any way in the last two days. Anybody else encountered this problem, or have an idea what’s going on?

I unplug, count to 7, plug back in, count to 7 again, and it’s fixed. Tried that?

That didn’t work for me. It is still rotating to the left.

Try counting to 14 instead of 7 :wink:

Just kidding mate, what helped with me was uninstall the TrackIr software and reinstall and/or change the usb port.

Good luck!:+1::smiley:

I forgot to say, I also changed the USB port! I swap between 2 on my front panel.

Are you sure it is a trackIR issue and not just some uncentered peripheral / mouse causing the movement?

You can check in the trackIR software if your view is turning on it’s own (I guess not!)

I had my mouse pointer start randomly moving upwards at times, sometimes turning the view too, turned out it was my ‘mouse’ button on the throttle quadrant randomly doing that. Connect/disconnect fixed it.

I have used FacetrackNoir before on the sim. Might be worth looking at if your problem persists.
