Hi all,
I’m having an issue with the GTNXi and AMD Fluid Motion Frames.
When I startup the game, the TDS GTNXi .exe file loads aswell (as is required for the VC panels to work ingame), but the consequence is that AMD Fluid Motion Frames does not work anymore…
When uninstalling the .exe, all is well again and I can use the frame generation as intended…
When looking in the AMD Adrenaline software, I can see that MSFS is reporting the GTNXi .exe as the ‘game’ in the library.
Changing the file to the original MSFS executable does not work, it keeps changing over on starting up the game.
Anyone have an idea how to trick the AMD driver to not use the Garmin Trainer but the actual game?

Try removing the TDS software from auto starting by removing it from the EXE.XML file. Start MSFS and then start the TDS software manually.

We are not sure what you mean by “buy it again”. There is no such thing as a different TDS GTNXi product for MSFS 2024.
The TDS GTNXi Pro which we released on 29 February 2024 works for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, all the Pro customers just had to download the updated TDS GPS Manager from the TDS Sim Software website and have been able to install the TDS GTNXi Pro in MSFS 2024 just fine.
For previous customers of the base TDS GTNXi, which has been discontinued, we offer the Pro Upgrade, which adds the Pro features, such as MSFS 2024 support and much more. This could have been the cause of the confusion as it is not a new product, but just an upgrade. More information can be found on the official Pro Upgrade webpage:
As I understand it, I not only have to pay to upgrade ( which I would be prepared to do ) but I also have to pay a subscription to Navigraph which I am not prepared to do. This is not a very kind way to conduct a business .
Used the TDS GTN750 for the first time in MSFS2024 during last night’s stream and I couldn’t be happier. I used it in the TBM850, which, again, I can’t even tell you how comfortable the whole thing made me (despite no engine sounds). It’s like coming home after a long trip - it is absolutely a big part of what I was missing since switching to 2024. There are getting to be fewer and fewer reasons for me to go back to 2020, and this was a big one.

At TDS Sim Software we do not request any subscription for the TDS GTNXi Pro to function, this is a misconception which we would like to clarify.
The TDS GTNXi Pro/Pro Upgrade comes with a Navigraph database pre-installed, as do other add-on aircraft such as PMDG. In addition, a great bonus of the TDS GTNXi is that it comes pre-loaded with North American FliteCharts, this will require a simple interface selection to select which charts to use!
Through the years, the two biggest feature requests for the TDS GTNXi has been an updateable navigation database as well as charts. We went above and beyond in order to achieve this for our users and we are very happy to be able to offer this. We prefer having this being portrayed as a positive as it is innovation in this industry and through this message we can assure all our users that we will strive to continue improving the TDS GTNXi Pro in the areas that matter the most as well as listening to all the desire feature requests!

I only posted my remarks because in FAQ on the TDS website someone asked “Do you need a Navigraph account to upgrade to pro” and the answer was yes.
I was very pleased to here that I could get the GTNXi for 2024 so I have upgraded. Unfortunately the screen is blank which is a worry as it seems to have installed correctly.
Thank you for the clarifications, we have checked our website/FAQ section and we do not mention this as a requirement, so there is nothing to worry about.
In regards to black screens, can you please contact us via Discord, we will get this sorted so you can fully use the TDS GTNXi Pro!
