We will be deploying a new build (1.25.12.0) to all players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming shortly (edit: live now) to address a bug introduced with World Update IX. This bug caused a crash upon launching Microsoft Flight Simulator that prevented some players from reaching the main menu. All internal occurrences of this issue have been resolved with this new build; however, we believe it is possible this problem might still occur under certain circumstances. If you still cannot reach the main menu after updating to 1.25.12.0, it would be very helpful to us if you could reply to this forum topic with the following information:
Your Gamertag
Your platform (Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox Cloud Gaming)
Your Global Device ID (instructions below, cloud players can skip this step)
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & System > Settings > Console info.
Look at the last row (#6) for Global Device ID. It is the last one displayed.
Build 1.25.12.0 contains no other changes beyond the fix for this specific crash. Players on PC will not receive this update and will remain on build 1.25.9.0.

Installed the patch
FS2020 version now says 1.25.12.0
Still crashing on New Activities screen when the blue progress bar reaches approximately 80%. That’s no change from when my issue began.
Made three attempts to load the game including with and without Xbox reboots.

The beta reports indicated success. What’s different with this production patch deployment?
Are you able to get as far as the main menu? This update only fixed an issue that caused a crash during loading that could prevent some players from getting as far as the main menu. It does not resolve any other issues.

Can you please confirm if you are still getting crashes during the loading screen? That is, are you able to get past the Cloud Gaming rocket screen and see the Xbox and Asobo logos, the copyright notice, then World Update IX Italy and Malta screen, etc.
Game opened from start menu ok
Downloaded WU Italy and Malta ok
Went on to try Venice discovery flight crashed back to home page ?
Tried for a second time and it worked ??
Will try various scenarios see what comes
