night lighting needs a major major overhaul.. can we please have this recognized and addressed as a priority. i love flying at night but its just a cartoon to look at .. please have this moved up in priority. were at almost 800 votes and its never even acknowledged as an issue. just look at the some of the screenshots here. or just simply spawn anywhere in the middle east at night and see if it looks realistic. the lights are massive. the sim is too bright. night flying should be super dark and with lights looking small from the distance. the bulbs at night look like massive hot air baloons.
just take a look at x plane at night and copy them. only issue in XP is the popping in and out of lights which seems to be a LOD issue. hopefully fixed in XP12 but clearly good lighting is doable.
i also read here that night lighting in alpha testing was great. so again, if the solution exists then why not implement it - specially as we have almost 800 votes asking for it
