I don’t like the fact that they are still willing to use textures for the far night lights. I dont remember that being the case back in the first alphas and night lighting was incredible and performance was great. I’m afraid it will still look bad and ugly just not so close to the camera. I want night lighting to look as it did in the old days, with detailed independant light bulbs up to the horizon. If performance is an issue, then just make a separate setting for it with selectable level of detail but please, make night lighting look in the distance as it did, no texture tricks, PLEASE!!
