But, literally combined, it is Next Level Comfort.
If you are at all handy with a box knife and not concerned to dice up the foam a bit, you can easily end up with the vibe-pods in the seat foam. Not sure why NLR didnât combine these to begin with. (Maybe theyâll overheat? Iâll be the test dummy for it. )
The pods fit in the openings pretty nicely.
But they werenât in contact enough with the foam to really translate vibrations through it. So I added these cutouts and smooshed the pod into it:
. . .then taped the snot out of them.
The mid back and upper back were actually much easier, with a box knife. A slit in the foam also hides the wires nicely.
The wires arenât as well hidden until the pads are tucked in to the chair:
But they hide nicely and the control wires still come out the same-ish location.
Time for a test in the ole prototype location.
After a quick test flight or two, I have to say itâs WAY more comfortable, and requires just a bit more juice from the adjustment knob. (I used to use ~50% âpower,â but now use ~75%) Furthermore, the vibrations feel a bit more distributed and blend together much better. If you want to do it, it is possible.
Carry on.
