The one I’m using is a current model Xbox One Elite 2 Wireless. However I’m not aware of any significant difference in the variable trigger mechanism; the ‘Elite’ version has an adjustable tension but all versions of the Xbox One controller since 2013 have had variable-response triggers so far as I am aware, even the old pre-Bluetooth ones.
Dreamboy,
Thanks for the tip. That worked perfectly for me as well.
I use my racing pedals as rudder and this issue is affecting that as well. Assigned each pedal to left axis and right axis but they do not return to center.
Guys, please note that this thread is not about the Xbox controller. The Xbox controller works, but you need to set your keymappjng from jaw to axis.
Other controllers have the issue that the LT & RT buttons are changed from analog input to digital.
Please keep it on topic!
I have exactly the same problem with Xbox One Controller. Latest firmware. LT and RT are only full on or off.
So in controller setup I removed the rudder axis LT and RT and saved. And than reassigned again and saved. It works as before. I use xbox controller. In sensitivity menu it still looks like before, but in game ruder works gradually.
